Kaidrens legs were picking up speed but she started to slow once more. She hadn't run like this in forever. She never had a reason to run before. Her pray anymore was just weak or sleeping so she could creep up on them easier. Her amber pools watered when the wind hit them but the air in her thick white fur felt lovely. She felt almost like she was flying, her legs going sort of numb.

She was breathing a little heavy, her heart pounding in her chest. She came crashing to the ground with Vesely on top of her. She laughed softly, trying to catch her breath still. His paw patted her head and he whispered in her ear, then he ran off. She got up slowly and looked around, watching him run to the log. She got to her feet and trotted after him. "Vesely!" She called. "I'm getting kind of tired." Her voice got softer as she slowly got near the log.
