News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

how can I stand here with you,
and not be moved by you?
After their arrival, her little body is quick to lean into the comforts of her sibling. The fluttering of her heart settling slightly at the contact, soothing her nerves just by that simple act. Tucking her small body into the larger one of Illa, the contrast is evident; revealing the differences in their height and weight. The safety she feels nestled into her sibling is one that can not be disputed, one that has been there since birth. A quick glance as pale eyes find the dark emerald a look of gratitude and adoration given to her sister before she nuzzles into her side, pulling her eyes to look once more at the gathering that seemed to still be growing. The next pup to arrive is one that seems to sweep the shyness away within first glance as automatically does her body began to writhe and wiggle, tongue flickering at the air; peppering it with kisses as she expects and anticipates the contact that was to come from Anke. For she can never forget the time she had unknowingly been bulldozed by her lovely cousin. The excitement has her practically bouncing gently against Illa's side like a ball. At the contact upon her body she stumbles slightly at the larger form of her body bumping against her smaller one yet it does not deter her from peppering a few quick kisses upon her lovely face, so pleased to see her within the keeps of Spirane for she had not seen her since the fall of Asteraia. "Anke! I have missed you!" Even in her elation the gentle and soothing tones in her voice prevent her from belaying her true excitement yet that was evident in her wiggling form. One last kiss is given before the tapping of a paw draws her attention away from Ankh, and her writhing body attempts to contain her excitement once more.

At the words of Sorcha, pale green eyes are quick to look at the lovely female, a gentle smile and the slight tapping of her tail upon the soil is given at the fact that Illa and herself would be welcomed. But it is when Sorcha begins her story does finally her body still, slightly leaning forward as she fixates on the female, already willingly hanging on every word that would soon be told from her lips.

It was the tale of a boy, a hero named Osprey. At the mention of a girl, a princess named Thistle she unknowingly inches forward, ears pricked at high mast listening so hard that everything around her seems to melt away. The more words of the tale that spill from her lips seems to have entranced the small child, and at the breathy declaration that Osprey had come to love Princess Thistle, no longer is the warmth of Illa or Ankh at her side. For in her enthrallment she had now found herself before the rock, away from her sibling and cousin, beside the darker boy sliced with red, yet despite the foreign warmth she is too captured by the tale to truly realize the change. At the telling that Princess Thistle had been watching Osprey too did the child give a happy sigh, pale eyes dancing with light. At the news that Thistle's father found him unworthy, a slight whine escapes her. The sadness at the news causing her ears to flick and flatten against her head. To her, he was worthy. To know he loved his daughter purely was evident enough and the pain she feels at the rejection Osprey must feel cause her little heart to ache, yet as she listens Osprey seemed not deterred by the kings words, and intended to prove his worth to the king. To know even when faced with rejection Osprey did not give up on his love with Thistle has her smiling gently, a brief tap of her tail upon the earth. At the news of Ospreys tasks she once again settles to a standstill, leaning slightly forward with bated breath. The first a witch with a necklace of bones, the next a cougar, and last a river of tears. She cannot help the whispered encouragement that falls from her lips, "You can do it Osprey.."

As she listens to his journey to find the witch and obtain her necklace she is silent, yet every emotion she experiences from the story is evident in those pale green eyes. From the sadness at hearing of the witch's loneliness to the elation at him getting her necklace. The fact he had offered her a home in exchange was all that more pleasing to the child. At the question Sorcha asks next has her mind in a flurry of activity. Yet at the voice of another has her pausing to glance at the cream boy, who voiced her own thoughts and as his own words finish, the voice of another chiming in with agreement, then her soft tones are quick to reply, all earlier evidence of timidness swept away and the story of brave Osprey giving her courage. "Maybe the cougar is sad and angry.." She pauses remembering her mothers actions at losing her father and the resulting aggression that has come from the loss. "Maybe the cougar is reacting to losing someone he cared for, I hope he is not as scary or mean as you say Sorcha, I'm scared for Osprey perhaps the cougar just needs a shoulder to lean on, be cared for, a helping paw to ease his pain should he have any.." The sadness in her voice is there. It is what her mind pictures, yet instead of brave Osprey comforting the shadowed cougar she see's a dark form of Reich and the comfort he has given her mother since their loss. He had been that helping paw for their mother and maybe the cougar was just misunderstood and not some dark creature bent on slaughtering wolves for the sake of their souls. "Perhaps he is taking souls in hopes of finding the one he has lost?" She pauses. "I hope neither will be harmed for the sake of one's love for another.." She whispers lastly. There are always reasons for ones actions, a cause and affect. And the little child cannot help but see the best in someone even when they are tainted like one as the cougar. If Osprey would indeed have to kill the cougar she would mourn the loss, death was dark and tragic no matter the victim. As her soft voice dies off, pale eyes are quick to glance at her side, seeking Illa for reassurance that there would be no loss in this story no matter whom it was. Yet as pale eyes glance at her side there is a quick flood of timidness at the figure beside her, for that was most certainly not her sister and the fact she had so rudely barged into his space has her gentle voice rushing to apologize. "Forgive me, I did not know I had intruded on your space." She whispers, quickly placing her smaller and fragile body further inches away as pale eyes fixate on the earth below, too shy to look back at him or glance for Illa. The pounding of her heart at her mishap echoes in her ears, hoping she had not angered the boy, for she had not meant to be so rude. Hoping that either Illa would seek her out Sorcha would begin again so that she could focus on something else other than her blunder.
