Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

With one task taken before he could do anything about it, Solitaire had decided to try for something else instead. Might as well, right? He couldn't find that one girl that made him feel funny things again, so he did his best to put the whole thing out of his mind and keep working for the good of his pack. They had brought down that bull seal not too long ago, and that had been quite an ordeal. The cut above his eye healed up nicely, though he had to admit he had experimented on himself in that area with the herbs he was learning to use for healing. That was the task he had decided to go for now, after having seen his brother injured, and then Frostbite injured as well.

So, he had gone around to start collecting herbs and plants that would be helpful for wounds and that would help those who were sick. He remembered some of the things from the vagabonds, because there had been a lot of injuries within the ranks back then. Never knew if the lured ones would attack or grow violent, or if someone would try to escape, fail and be beaten for it. Solitaire had learned a lot from all that, but he had pushed it out of his mind for awhile, trying to forget everything of that time. But seeing the injuries of brother and packmates, Solitaire had been doing his best to remember all that he could. He had been spending a lot of time thinking, shuffling through plants to try and gain a helpful memory..

And it had worked well enough, so now he had been dragging around a hollowed bit of log to store the plant matter in. It had a branch on it for easy pulling, and whatever worked, right? But his thought was about Frostbite who had been damaged in the hunt, and how Eden had wanted her tended to before after a fight, too. So it was her he was searching for, to see if she needed any tending to. He'd be looking for Tristan soon enough for that, too. No knowing if the wound he'd gotten from a different hunt might have festered or anything, and now that the memories were being pulled back to the forefront of his mind, Solitaire intended to help everyone. After a moment he set down the log and called out for Frostbite.
