Susil Crags

Disaster has struck!
The Crags are a series of rocky formations with small caves and crevices throughout. Many of the lower-lying areas of the Crags have been flooded, however, with water pouring in from the Northern stretches of Moladion. Some paths have been completely submerged, and some are nothing more than a few rocky peaks sticking out of the water. The water is fairly slow moving but begins to pick speed up towards the Grotto, becoming a series of intense rapids and waterfalls as it nears the Grotto's entrance.

The area itself is still traversible. However, it can be risky. Large amounts of debris can enter the waterway, creating bridges at times but also creating dams that break and cause ocassional flash-flooding. Be careful, travelers! One wrong step and you could end up finding out where the water goes.

Note: Susil Crags will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Return to Lunar Children

that is not dead which can eternal lie

Scouting. It was becoming one of Aithne's least favorite past times and yet it was what always needed to be done. Searching for fresh blood that might call the marshes their home. An alpha could not stand by in hopes that good things would come to them - nay, they must seek it out. Thus is why Aithne moves across the crags with graceless steps. Her claws scratch against the hard stone as she moves, body swaying to get proper purchase before she would push onward, head low and ears swiveling at each new sound. Spring always led to new wolves, either newborns or those who traveled into Molodian in search of places to rest their feet after a long and arduous winter. Soon the packs would begin to have inter-pack meetings and the children would be guided to and fro.

The trickle and ripple of water catches her ears as she moves, angling her body diagonal as she begins to climb up the side of the crags. It seemed to her that this place was once a mighty mountain that was smashed by some incredible force. Now all that was left was littered pieces of stone cut deep into the earth and jagged at the edges. The runoff water is overflowing and the rocks are wet near it as it seeps over and into the earth below. Emerald eyes come to rest on the other figure of the young girl, startled by her appearance. She is blue-black and resembles Kneph almost yet she is clearly a female and young and Aithne does not scent Kneph on her perfume.

"Hello," she says in her hoarse voice, watching the girl curiously as her mind twirls. Clearly the girl was a loner, her scent of no distinct place and perhaps she would be a good one to have. Only time would tell. Aithne presses her hips down onto a smoother and flat rock on the other side of the small make-shift pond to see how the girl will respond.

and with strange aeons even death may die
