Youth and the potential of birthright were a heady mix and the small girl was no exception. She idolized her mother, saw her as the greatest queen to walk the earth and longed to be like her in every possible way. Perhaps this would have been better rounded out if she had spent more time with her rambunctious brothers when she was little or had more of father figure to guide her when Dany was so busy with pack matters, but there is no changing things that are past, and she is as she is for now. Young lives change much over the course of time, however, and that someone would put so much stake in the words of a child is surprising. To Kalseru, however, it is just a piling of insult on to injury as his tentative words give their reply to her mother’s proposition. Where Daenerys figuratively bit her tongue her daughter did so quite literally.

She was old enough to know when someone was talking about her in a less than favorable fashion and she knew her mother well enough to tell when she too was less than pleased with a situation. A strange sense of indignation that she had not yet experienced before now welled up in her slender chest and her long gossamer tail twitched fluidly in the cool air. Her moon-rimmed eyes remain focused on him though he does not so much as glance her direction until her mother speaks, gaze turning to the comfort of her similarly masked face as she speaks. The young girl takes note of the diplomatic way in which her mother speaks, though Kalseru can tell she is not entirely pleased with the situation. Where she would have been all rough edges and harsh words her mother is calm and cool and in this perhaps she learns her most important lesson to date: how to pleasantly deal with an unpleasant situation.

Her weight shifts, shoulder brushing momentarily against the same smoke-hued fur of her mother as she manages a slight smile on her black lips nodding in agreement with Daenery’s offer to accompany him to the border. For now she remained quiet as so far her words had seemingly done more harm than good; thinking that perhaps speaking less was more in these occasions, but undoubtedly she would be getting an earful from her mother later.
