Re(4): Crappie Spawning!!!

I was born and raised in MI and fished many of the inlands, St Clair, and Great lakes. I moved to Ohio and had a big learning curve on how to fish these ohio mud hole lakes. Trail and error and you will figure it out. I will say that Indian can be tough..... it is not because the fish are not there ( THEY ARE ), rather I belevie it is due to the relentless pressure they receive. In fact, the amount of Crappies/Saugeyes and Bass that are caught and in many cases pulled from that lake is crazy. Saugeye catch rates are coming back after a few years of poor stocking..... For crappies, think small baits and go even smaller. Use the least amount of metal possible and very light line.... That bite is nearing an end until Fall. Late october / Early November is out of control for the crappie.
