Carden Alvar Nature Board by Bob BowlesMore good birds

Golden-winged warbler song was heard many times this morning on CKL 35 .5km south of Curls Road. Across the road, a grasshopper sparrow sang and sang. A winter wren was singing in the woods across from the Talbot River Marsh. Black & white warblers, Nashvilles, towhees, ovenenbirds, house wrens -- what a day. And in the yard in Victoria Road, our returning redstart, and a yellow-bellied sapsucker.
