News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

Was it so unfair for her to wish to sneak back into the mountain after she had left it behind? In a way she cannot be too bitter, for if Fenrir had left for an absolute amount of time she could, in time, find herself understanding. Yet she had been lonely the majority of her life and her children, they filled that void, so it wasn't as much of a hard loneliness as it had been before. Still she missed the warmth of another. She missed the smell of the pine trees in midwinter as the snowy side of the mountains stood in sharp relief against the crisp greens. Ailith was here as well with her own children and it gave Natu a pang that she would not be here as they grew. Taviora was nice and the children did not seem to mind being there but her heart had always been in the mountains and in a way she had ripped it out when she had left. Whether it had been the right decision or the wrong decision, that was a thing that could not be so obviously determined. At the time it had been right and looking back, would she have done it again? She swallows her regret, swallows her pride in these moments as she asks of Sleekwing such things. They had fallen so easily back into the lives of the other she wonders why she had ever stayed away for so long. It gave her hope for her future once more, a future in which Daenery's might also forgive her.

Sleekwing has always responded quickly to her nonverbal cues. He is attentive like that, careful to see what is going on when others might be blind, and it eases a bit of her tension. She knew that it was not fair to ask him such things, perhaps, yet she had felt the bond between them tightening once more. It was only her firm hope that he would be fully honest with her and that there might be hope for her future, if she decided to take this step. There was so much to think on, to worry on, and she would not get off easily. No matter what choice she made things would be rough and if she decided to stay in Taviora then at least she wished to mend the friction between her and her old friend. One day, she thinks, she would simply keel over. Her heart and mind would give out to the stresses she demanded of it but not now. Not when her children needed her and when she had just got back Grayson.

Natu's ears flick back and she visually recoils at his words, eyes drooping in sorrow and remorse for the way things had went. It was expected, his words, but facing them out loud seemed more hard than what she had expected. She loved the Queen, almost like a daughter even if the girl would never think of her as such, and what kind of mother had she been anyways? Horrible. It seemed in trying to do what she felt was right something always went wrong. Maybe Warlow had been right about life and maybe she had tried too hard but things had been done and now all that was left was to figure out her place in the grand scheme of things.

"There is so much here to fix," she whispers, knowing Sleekwing will hear her before he continues on. Knowing she has done much damage even as she has taken damage in her life and it gnaws at her. "I do not know, Sleek, what to do anymore. It is... I am not sure for I have such little trust in myself anymore. I wonder how another can trust me when I cannot even trust myself?" Icy blue eyes meet his with firm resolve. "My children, they are my lifeline. I want only their happiness above mine." She blinks at his words of Fenrir and feels her face warm beneath her fur, embarrassment almost, but she does not take her eyes from him and she does not speak out against his words. Because in the end, if she came here, she knew that it would mean an ending of her ties with her mate and the beginning once more of an older life. There was no way to bridge that gap and as such she is torn. She had left Daenery's and now would she leave him? It is... painful to think on. Life was simply not as easy as she had hoped it would be in her early youth.

A very soft, small smile plays across her lips at his last words, filled with a remorse and sorrow at having dredged up such pain once more. She nods, minutely. "I will not do that. I will not say yes or no yet, for we both know that I have much to weigh and decide. Neither choice will be easily made and I am sorry.. I am sorry for bringing this up to you. I--- it was never my intention to hurt you or her. It seems that I have that tendency to hurt others, it is why I must take a good time before I decide what is best for me. For now, do you think you might have the time to train me? If I do stay where I am then I need to learn to fight, and even if I don't it would be a skill most welcome." Her voice is soft as it trails from one thing to the next, never losing the weightiness of the moment and sincere in each word.
