He had not noticed any change in the female, and he was ignorant to what may have occurred with his family. He had not seen any of them since he was but a pup, and part of him was...pained coming here. There was a deep sorrow about many aspects of his life, and he could not bear to venture back to Taviora quite yet. Spirane commanded his attention with their peaks, and he would not have minded if he met up with one brother at a time. But alas, that was not to be for now, instead, he would focus on the task at hand- drinking the view from the mountains and perhaps, finding a place...decent to live. Safe.
It may have been risky for him to trust the Queen of Spirane along the mountains. There was much risk to life, but Rollo had hoped to find good in the world again. He had this undying hope, and so far, his hope was not crushed and slammed back into his face. His hope had failed him before, but not on this day...no, he would trust and try to make his way across the world again. The sight of the mountains was something simply glorious, and his breath was taken from him in these moments. The sun was rising higher in the sky, and the colors simply flooded his senses.
Was this a place one could actually live? He had lived in a place far different than this, and his mind could barely comprehend the power of the earth that caused these peaks to rise. He felt a sigh crawl from his lips, eyes down cast for a moment. It all seemed too good to be true already. It was then that the female came to stand with him, his golden orbs lifting as she spoke. He felt as if he was trapped in a dream, that the world would fizzle below his feet and fade away as quickly as this all came about.
He gives a nod with his dark head, eyes closing slowly as he attempts to unravel her words. He opens his eyes slowly while looking back out into the world that she had allowed him to see. It was a true sight of freedom to know that the world was so vast again. He could not deny that the invitation was beyond kind and tempting, but he knew not if he was worthy of such a cause. He would take the offer though, as it was better than any other prospects he may or may not have.
"I...would be very grateful, to be given that chance. I must admit, that I have no where else to go," he says with a deep sense of melancholy. And yet, he wondered if she had met his brother, knowing that he was taken here and lived here. Perhaps, if he saw him again, he could find some purpose and direction again. Sure, he could go to Taviora, but he had always wondered what exactly happened to Sven, and it was the cause for what happened to himself to begin with.
"Tell me do you...know of Sven? Is he here?" he asked, his golden eyes turning to lock with the female with a bit of hope. His ears were perked forward, hoping to hear that he could see his long lost brother again, if he was to stay here, it would only make sense to know if he was here or not.
