Bright Moon - a land sullied by mystery and the ravaging scars of a terrible fire. Abandoned as a pack land for years, the terra has been used as a gathering place for the brazen and bloodthirsty drawn there by the lingering pall of death. Yet from the ashes there comes an unordained phoenix, the rainbow hues of hope glinting in her mismatched globes. Through the obsidian drapes obscuring the scenery, she alone was able to catch the perfumed aroma of new life on the breeze and hear the sluggish streams flowing ever swifter into the morning.

Thus, with a purpose, she set out to map the incognita, discovering daily the extent of the reawakening and unearthing within herself a desire to return the landscape to its former glory. Now she stands tall as privileged Alpha of the lands, lording over the rock-strewn prairie and bountiful forests with a firm but gentle paw.

Having finally realized her deepest longing to be a queen, Satowra is focused solely on the revival and maintenance of the Bright Moon Pack. Her question to each prospective warrior that comes to the border is simple:

"Do you have what it takes?"

Just when everything seemed to be going well and quiet life had thrown a curveball at the happy and peaceful brute. Summer had adjusted well to his spot as alpha in the pack of Bright Moon. He trusted the lupines in the pack and knew that they were all loyal to each other and would stick by each other and defend the pack and the vargs within. It seemed that this was going to be tested when the alpha of Abendrot came to the borders not too long ago. The smoky brute had never met anyone from Abendrot, but he knew of the history that Abendrot and Bright Moon had. It was not a secret that the two packs were enemies and had been for many moons. But the nature of the brute did not let him assume the worst in others. When he saw that the white alpha was not hurting anyone or breaking any rules he did not assume that he was here to cause trouble. Summer was polite and respectful, though hesitant with other alpha, trying to figure out why he had come to this pack of all packs.

What he was not expecting though was to find his once thought to be dead brother, Grey Wind, accompanying the alpha. The smoky brujo remembered when him and Grey Wind had been separated as teens. Death and blood had surrounded them when Summer fled with his younger brother. He could only assume that the rest of his family, including the grey titan, had died in the war and battles that had fallen upon his pack. And so he was astonished to see him by the side of none other than Kershov. Why had Grey Wind joined a pack that was known for torturing and killing others, sometimes for no reason other than the pleasure of the ones doing the killing? His brother wasn’t a killer, was he? He had not seen Grey in so long that he could not say he knew him. But he knew that the brute was not raised to be a killer. He was raised to be a just and understanding leader, just as Summer had been. So what had happened that made his kin join a pack with such a nasty reputation. When the group had parted Grey Wind and Summer had agreed to meet again and catch up, but would the pair have anything in common now? He did not know what would happen with his brother.

But the brute could not dwell on that right now. He had other matters to attend to. No matter what was going on in his personal life he needed to focus on his pack and the responsibilities he had to it. And right now that meant doing one of his many daily border patrols. Border patrols was something that could always distract him from whatever was going on and let him focus on something else. And so the brute turned in the direction of the nearest border and began walking in the opposite direction of the wind, enjoying the feeling of the breeze pushing against his pelt. He made sure to stop every so often to mark on the edges of the territory, making sure his scent was always strong. As he was making his easy lope around a familiar and foreign scent caught his attention. The familiar scent of Scion reached his nares, and he was once again reminded that he needed to take some time one on one with the soldier and get to know him a bit better. But there was also an aroma that he did not recognize and he was curious to see who was at the borders now.

Summer quickened his pace a bit to reach the pair. There seemed to be no hostility or danger so the smoky brute approached with a smile on his features and his banner held high, wagging slightly. He saw no need in being hostile around a newcomer if they were friendly. He addressed Scion first, thanking him for greeting the stranger. ”Scion,” he spoke with a nod of his cranium, ”Thank you for greeting our new friend.” Summer’s yellow orbs then turned to the femme, noticing that she was missing a limb, but that did not matter to him. ”I am Summer, alpha of Bright Moon. What is your name and what brings you here?” After he listened to her answer he turned again to the other brujo. ”Thank you for giving her a tour. Your help is always appreciated.” He was glad to have vargs like Scion in his ranks that he could count on.
