I am not one to betray my own Alpha. That is simply not me. I do not have nefarious thoughts bubbling in my head. I am extremely loyal, loyal to a fault, and I would do everything I can to help Aithne. I have to. It is my job and I want to do my job well. I am completely worried as my violet eyes look to her, I can sense her gaze is suspicious, and it only makes me feel worse. I know Starfall wasn’t the type to sneak into a pack and kill an Alpha. He is far too kind to do such a thing. I’d like to think of myself as a good judge of others characters and I doubt Starfall would do such a thing – even if I have only met him twice. It makes me extremely uneasy with Aithne giving me that look that I cannot help, but spill out everything. To some this would be silly, but she does not laugh, she stays quiet. This is it. I’m in trouble. Oh I really should leap off this rock and make a run for it. But I stay. I tremble, but I stay. As she speaks I slowly begin to calm down as I rest my head over my paws and give out a sigh of relief. Her comment brings a small smile to my black lips, as I speak gently to her.

“When am I ever not cautious?”

As she speaks about my trip to Taviora my ears twitch and point towards her. I know it is a trip that I must take. I failed on my earlier promise and I won’t do it again. I just won’t. I need to go there and I think it would be wise this spring to take the two pups. I hope their Mother does not mind, then again, they are I think 2 years old now. Then again, Vera could be more affectionate and overprotecting than my own Mother. I think it would be good if she came. She is a true Demon. If the others can see that a True Demon could be sociable then perhaps they will finally see Iromar as a not so bad place. I’ve heard about the wolves in Asteria and I am sure they will carry our reputation. I just hope whatever new reputation we have it is better. I lift my head up as I nod slowly.

“I would very much like Avery to attend and if Vera cannot then I’ll seek out Arkane. I’ve heard of Maverick…and I would prefer to work with someone that will actually be helpful.”

Although there is another matter I need to attend to. I would like to venture out towards the Grotto or Riverside and see if Mother is there. I know she is most likely alive, but I would at least like to make sure. Besides I want her to see that I have made it to age 4. I am an adult now and I have grown, with and greatly, without her help. I also want to know when she believes the curse took affect on her. Have I past it and have nothing to fear, or shall I have to worry much longer? I turn my dial to my Alpha as I ask her for permission. I know I’m an adult, I know I am the Consul, but I still want her to know where I am. It is dangerous going in the loner lands, and even though I don’t really know how to fight, I am sure I will be safe. I am quite sneaky and fast.

“Before I leave for Taviora I’d like to look around for my Mother, just to make sure she is still alive, if that is okay with you?”
