don't look for me cause i'm too far gone...
It had been a fair amount of time since his last visit to Spirane. Meryl was leading the way to the pack but it seemed his children, well Yuki at least, had other plans and split off taking off over the mountain. He didn’t mind so much, not so long as his little daughter was running about his imprint’s realm he knew she would be perfectly safe. Who he did still have following him though was his son Ame. Ame never wandered too far from whoever was leading the way to whatever adventure that they were going on. As always he looked a little nervous and unsure as they made their way to the new lands. Meryl never stopped on the border anymore when coming to visit Daenerys. They were close; if it wasn’t just because of their imprint bond it was because of their unique and powerful friendship they had forged over the many years of being around one another.
Meryl recalled last time he was here when he had met Jericho once again as well as her three sons. He had promised the last time he had come that he would bring his own children and it appeared he was holding to it this time. However his little daughter had other adventurous plans and he wasn’t concerned so long as she came around to meet his imprint later. For now Ame was fine coming around, maybe he could become friends with one of Daenerys’ children, or any other child of the mountain. There seemed to be many of the around after all it wouldn’t hurt for him to make some friends. He was happy though, Ame did have at least one good friend now in the form of Halcyon who often hung around their den like another little adoptive son of sorts. The mahogany boy was more than welcome too and had good manners and helped Ame get out of his comfort zone a bit more. Their friendship was something Meryl hoped would last a lifetime but time would tell how far they would go together.
He often wondered though what was becoming or had become between Daenerys and that Jericho fellow. Meryl liked him, or at least approved of him and if his silvery imprint didn’t know that already, not that she needed his approval or anything, he was still going to give it to her. Leonidas had always rubbed him the wrong way… it had been that way since their very first meeting and then the constant hurt he put upon his Soul’s heart. The final straw was likely the fact he was gone now despite having children with her and he wondered if he had ever even laid eyes upon the four pups he had created. He didn’t care too much, they had what Meryl thought, was an even better father figure in the form of Jericho and just because he wasn’t blood didn’t mean he couldn’t be their father.
He made his way up the mountain, pausing every once in a while to see if Ame was keeping up. Every once in a while his tail would wave as a little leap or jolt would come to him in knowing that soon his soul would be reunited again. A feeling he couldn’t help but still didn’t quite feel the same as when he was with Yin. They were very different feelings ones that were hard to explain and each was unique and special to him. He paused suddenly then, glancing around knowing that someone was nearing them, his brown and sky blue gaze beginning to cast around in search of who exactly it was that was coming near. Danny of course would come but who knew who would stumble upon him first in the meantime so deep into Spirane’s territory.
