The sounds were pleasing to his ears, and he couldn't shake that feeling, the craving to do more, spill more blood. He had felt his claws connect, could smell more blood in the air. It enlivened him, energized him, and perhaps it was soothing the unease within his mind. Yet he continued on, wanting to rend the tail useless to take as his prize. He could leave the creature bleeding but alive and send the tail as a message to someone. His mind would not decide on which direction he would take it, but for now it was more about taking it for his own. So far it looked as if the wolf was having a rough time seeing; there was probably blood in the wolf's eyes. Good. More fun when they were flailing around.

The tail was soon enough back in his grasp, and Covet clamps his jaws down before he felt the jerk of the other male. It is a strain on his teeth and causes some pain, but he only growls to let it out, and the tail was free of the male's body with that popping sound. Of course with his jaws occupied by the tail, he isn't able to snap in return when those teeth find his flesh and fur. A spot on his side is abraded from the male's teeth, and his shoulder gained a bite that had Covet releasing the tail to slam himself into the wolf. The wound on his shoulder would bleed and bruise if it worked, and hopefully that would dislodge the male as well, his own teeth snapping at the male's face and nearest ear; keeping his neck scrunched, legs balanced as best he could in the position he was in.
