Though young, she had a keen interest in the world around her - it manifested itself in her being, well, a little highly strung. Each and every sound made her ear flicker towards it, a suspicious eye being cast onto each of the grass strands that bent and swayed in the wind. She had no doubt there were others somewhere nearby; after all, it was supposed to be a pack, and that meant others of her kind. As of yet, she had not met any other children or even another adult. Her life had been all but her sister and mother and it made her infinitely restless. He might have been quiet, but she had been eagerly listening out for any hint of another. The moment his paws came close enough, she had pivoted to face into the tall grass below, her eyes narrowed as they flickered about hungrily for him. Her nose might have been untrained, but she could smell him at least. So, what made him hide? The answer came soon enough: he was older than her, significantly larger too, and yet, she felt it only made the encounter more exciting. In fact, her little heart pounded in excitement, her mouth opening in awe as her eyes lit up.
She had to stop herself from panting in excitement as another figure arrived behind the other boy. This one was smaller - more like her - and yet, he had the same posture. The same colours. It didn't take her long to put two and two together - she had summoned a family! Their words might have been intended to scare her, and yet, they seemed to do the opposite. It made her giggle excitedly, lurching forward and bridging the space between them until she could get a real good look at their eyes (some two or so feet away from, her tail waving behind her.)
"I'll let you find out, if you do one thing for me!"
She chimed in cheerfully, swaying on her feet before she met their eyes once more, her own flashing with mischief.
"Let me chew on your ears? I want to know if you taste like a rabbit!"
She wriggled back into a playful bow then, eyeing off Cuirass' crimson ears playfully, her head tilting from left to right. It only seemed fair to her after all! If they wanted to know how fast she could be then she wanted to know what they had to offer her. Besides, she really did like chewing on Kamala's ears. Hers didn't taste like rabbits. But, these boys' might be different, she supposed.
