Dad and I went out at first light, put in at Blackhawk, went out to try some eye trolling first. Water conditions were perfect, trolled around out of Oldfield all the way to Pew zig zagging around. Got too many dinks to count, cats, some nice crappies, one small white bass, and some stumps. No keeper eyes, biggest we got were 14.5, couldn't seem to break the barrier. Was a lot of fun though, then I saw the rain coming across the lake so we packed it up quick and ran in to Blackhawk channels. We fished through the rain for a couple hours, got a few more crappies, they have moved out of there and the pads are thickening quickly.
