Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

male - no love - bound to reian - brother to sinclair
the long lost wanderer never to be found

Instantly he knew the connection that had formed between them when their eyes connected. He had heard about it his entire life, seen it time after time, but he had never expected it to be like this. Honestly he had always thought the tales of imprinting were a bit exaggerated. The idea that a single person could actually change your world was a still a little unbelievable even after all that time, but as soon as his dark blue eyes landed on her he knew exactly what they all meant. It was the stuff you sang songs or wrote poetry about, even though his renditions would undoubtedly be terrible. The walk towards her felt like a dream, everything else fading into background noise as his world literally and figuratively narrowed down to her.

She is quick to respond and instantly his smile explodes, spreading across his features at her instant recognition of their souls bond. Even more than that she seems genuinely happy about it, her emotions almost tangible in his chest a new feeling and yet one that is inexplicably just right. His tail begins to move in broad sweeps behind him, pure and simple joy that he cannot suppress nor would he ever try. As she speaks again his ears prick forward every bit of his attention trained on her. “Reian,” he whispers breathily, unable to keep her name from falling from his lips around his smile. He stares at her, a little dreamy eyed until he realizes he hadn’t given her his name yet. “Oh, Ryker!” he stumbles for a moment, fumbling for the words, “my name is Ryker.” It wasn’t the smooth, unruffled introduction perhaps he should have been trying for, but then again smooth and unruffled are two things he decidedly is not.

Rather he is decidedly ruffled as he offers her a slightly apologetic look on his eternally youthful face. He wears his emotions on his paw and there is no way he would rather be. “It’s a pleasure to finally meet you,” he says, with a spark in his crimson-lined eyes for he does feel like he has been waiting a long time to finally meet her. He inhales gently, for a moment his gray-masked lids closing while he breathed in her scent. She smelled of the forsst, of the crisp clean air and dense trees and most importantly like Moladion itself. It meant she was settled here, if not mostly so and that she was less likely to leave for he would not hesitate to follow. “Where do you call home?” he asked, stepping forward slightly in his eagerness and the inexplicable desire to be closer to her. Though he felt he knew already he didn’t want to assume too much too early.
