News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

He has come to recognize it, the way her body absolutely wriggled - it was a sign that she was happy or excited. Drogon notices the way her body began to twitch at the first step he'd taken towards her, and his ears perked forward as he drew closer. Her pale eyes set upon him and the wiggle of her small form is in full swing by the time he greeted her and came to sit beside her. He notices everything, from the way her ears perked at the sound of his voice to the way they flitted back once more in bliss. She was happy, so happy, and just because he had come to sit with her. It caused a flutter of butterfly wings within his stomach, but he was pleased to know that she was glad he'd come to join her. The gentle tones of her greeting assure him that he had not barged in on her private time, that she was glad he was there.

As he planted himself beside her, he left a bit of space between them and cast his eyes out across Moladion so as not to stare at her. But before he can say anything she closed the tiny gap between them, and he feels the vibration of her wriggling body move ever closer to his. When their fur bristled against each others, he turned his garnet eyes towards her as the black of his coat practically engulfed her small form. If he were to lift a foreleg and allow her to snuggle further into his chest she would practically disappear into him. But instead he simply watched as she nearly buried herself in him, and though he is unsure what to do in this moment, he cannot help but smile. His heart had quickened in beat when their fur had first touched, but as she sighed softly he felt the steady thumping resound within his chest. He spoke then, offering her the compliment she so deserved, and those pale green eyes so filled to the brim with an unparalleled vibrancy glanced up at him. She thanked him for his words, telling him that a bird had inspired her. He nodded, thinking his a reasonable reason to sing. But he was slightly startled that she thought his voice was anything commendable, a thing most unused certainly could not be considered captivating in any way. "If you would like," he replies, finding himself incapable of denying her anything she might desire; a thing that would become a habit for him now and in the future.

A content sigh slips from his lips as he glances back up at their surroundings and the world that sprawled before them, for he knew that staring was rude and he did not want Semele to think him rude. Her body began to steady, quieting as they looked out at the world around them. He did not see the way she looked up at him in concern for whether he was okay with her closeness, but she would find only a somber look of contentment upon his facade. Softly she mused about how amazing it was, and Drogon could only agree, for everything about this moment was amazing. Her happiness at his having come to join her, the close contact that felt so comfortable and yet stirred a nervousness in his belly at the same time, not the mention the stunning views that stretched out before them. "It is," he says, gruff tones softened to naught but a whisper in this moment, reveling in it.

The only noise that had surrounded them was that of nature - the birds twittering and the breeze rustling leaves nearby. So when the sound of paw steps suddenly seemed so close, Drogon's ears flicked backwards towards the source and his body tensed. His head flashed down to Semele's side even as she jumped into him, and he felt his entire body bristle - the hairs all along the back of his neck stood up straight and his lips pulled back at the perceived threat. He only remains sitting because Semele had so urgently pressed into him, but he would jump forward to protect her from...another pup flopped on the stone, panting. As soon as the vibrations of Semele's happiness began, his lips fell over his exposed fangs and he did his best to compose himself. He hoped that Semele had not seen much of his display, for he suddenly felt embarrassed at having gotten so worked up over another yearling. Yuki! she exclaimed, and Drogon took this to be the girl's name. His ears flicked back apologetically, for certainly the other girl had seen at least a flash of his unrepressed protective nature.

A string of words poured from this Yuki girl's lips, and Drogon merely stared down at her, nostrils flaring to try to get a hint of who she was. She didn't smell like the mountain; what was it with young wolves just marching up into the mountains like they owned the place? First Hyrule, and now this girl. But Semele's words about his greatness saw him relax a fraction, offering the tiniest of grins to encourage her - for surely she could be whatever she wished to be. She bumps into him then and he takes a deep breath, trying to return to that calm state that he'd known only moments before, but unable to fully achieve it. Yuki directed blathering words at him about not having seen him on the way up - clearly she'd not stopped to see anyone about whether or not she could be here, but Drogon merely tried to remind himself that Yuki's presence made Semele happy, so he simply nodded. "This is not the highest peak," he feels the need to inform her, for if it had been he would have found his family's sanctuary. Only then does he nod at one of the spires of the mountain off to the east, though even he is unsure if that is the highest one, for he has not attempted to climb it yet. But he would.

He fell silent then, simply observing the exchanges between Semele and Yuki. Softly does he lean into Semele's embrace, feeling comfort in her touch, calming the beast that had threatened to surface when he'd thought some danger had presented itself.
