Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

EVERLAST - FIVE - NO ANYTHING

She is both worried and relieved in the presence of this strange female who exudes power and grace. Instinct demands she be protective over her children even if she feels no particular bond with them yet - after all, their very presence is what had gotten her kicked out of her pack. She had always known she wasn't wanted. Her brothers took on the same position that her father had. That she was weak and wasn't meant to be born. That she had stolen the life of another brother in the womb so that she could be born. That she was cursed too. They didn't need extra mouths to feed even if she took care of herself in the most basic of ways. So they had used this as an excuse to get her out with relish. Yet here was this female looking at her with sympathy, something she had never seen before, and it makes her heart pulse and her hope flare.

She does not move as the female presses forward and sniffs her from neck to tail. It is weird but maybe that was a common thing in this place. Everlast lies there with a weak sigh while Seline casts her clever spell over the weak girl. "Thank you," she moans before trying to slowly roll so that she can sit up, cringing at the pain. The pups squeak in protest against the movement and try to burrow deeper and she leans over them tentatively, breathing them in and eying them with a detached sort of curiosity.

"Come back for them?" She questions dumbly at first, blinking up at Seline before furrowing her brows. "We can't leave them. We must take them, what if a bobcat or something gets them? I... can't leave them." Her voice is hesitant and wavering, glancing between the pups and Seline as if asking Seline to help her choose what to do. She uses the support offered quickly and presses her figure against the firm shoulder of the other, gritting her teeth and finally pushing to a stand. The pups go into a frenzy then before burrowing in each other and quieting once more to a spare squeak here and there.

"I can carry one or two if you can get the other," she mentions with a wry smile, as if this is her lucky day, wobbling on a weak legs pressed against this vile female who would steal everything from her once again.
