News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

It was just like a girl not to want to ruin her hair in the storm, although I suppose I couldn’t really say too much about that, I’d worried about my own appearance quite a bit since getting here. I liked the mountains I did, but the amount of work that was needed to keep one’s hair down was beginning to border on ridiculous, they could keep their mountain as far as I was concerned. In fact, maybe next time they can visit me and we can have a conversation out of the wind and snow and whatever else is being flung at me. Maybe the mountain doesn’t like being owned. They should have named it Death Mountain, after all, I was entirely sure it was attempting to throw me off. Maybe it just didn’t like me personally. I pushed the thought away for now, eyes returning instead as one of the brothers spoke about the ocean, my own tail waving in momentary excitement at the possibility of seeing it one day. I’d like that, I think, I’m sure I’d have relatives there aside from Eden. The approach of Semele at least seemed to pull my mind away from any further adventures for the day, although I had every intention of coming back here at least once to get to the top, lips pulling into a grin at her words all the same. Maybe I didn’t look to terribly fearsome now but one day I would, at least, if I could still look at least a bit stylish at the same time, after all, I’d hate to look fearsome but unattractive. I’m sure I can do both.

I was actually glad to get inside the cave, pausing to shake the snow from myself as I came to rest beside Viserion, willing enough to share my thoughts on Iromar all the same. I’d liked the girl I’d met there, at least a bit. She wasn’t like Semele or Ninevah or any of the other girls I knew- she jumped on me, like all girls do, but we’d played and she knew about the stars. Maybe I should have asked her about alligators, a soft snort pulled from my lips at my own slight lack of knowledge in this area, momentarily eyeing Drogon before returning the violet of my gaze to his considerably more personable brother as we discuss the matter of girls and how it as they forever seemed to be throwing themselves at us- or at least me.

I think I managed a frown of sorts at her assurance that his brother attracted a certain kind of crowd. What did that mean? Only some girls? I shook the thought off, content to ask about it another time although why they didn’t seem to suffer the ‘affronts’ I did I can hardly say. It would occur to me, one day I suppose, that maybe the problem had been me- that maybe I shouldn’t have acted the way I did when I was younger-though for the moment no such thoughts occurred. I liked these other boys, I wanted to be their friends and even if they didn’t want to have play battles with those girls from Asteraia, well, that was alright. Fiel and I could handle that I was sure, although I would have to bring him back one day to see this mountain and meet these others. A mention of the stopping storm saw my head tilt once more, white and silver form loping back towards the entrance to peek just my head though, tail waving now in delight before I turned back to the others.

“I can make my own way down, don’t worry about me. I’ll come back one day, don’t worry and I’ll even bring my brothers- you should come to Diveen some time, all of you, you’d like it.”

I grinned once more, a lopsided, crooked look before stepping back out and onto the mountain, bounding towards the path that led down, determined to be off the mountain before it had any chance to try and blow me away again.
