Riot was sure about his goals, sure that he wanted to be something, someone who mattered. He did not want to be just another name or face easily forgotten by all who he met, no. He had better plans for himself than that, and he would keep to them, keep working in that direction. But he did have to be sure, he did have to take Renai's advice on things. To not settle for less than what he wanted. They were good words to keep close, and he was grateful to hear them, glad that she would take the time to care just enough to say them. Riot couldn't know what the future held, but he wouldn't stop until there was something great in the distance for him to grasp. He would take it, and he would mold it into something. Something good and worthwhile.

Gut feelings did have a say in how he decided on things, that much was for sure. If it didn;t, then he would probably be in Spirane now, wouldn't he? But a gut reaction had prevented that from happening, and he had to take that as a sign. Had to hold true to himself and how he felt on the matter. It couldn't hold him back forever, it wouldn't hold him down. Ears twitched at the sound of scurring creatures, but his attention was more for Renai right now. He liked speaking with her, that much was true. A breath of fresh air from some others that he had spoken to, but there had been some intelligent minds he had met with as well. He could add her to that list. When she speaks, he nodded in agreement. "Yes, I am sure that is true. And once I find what I'm looking for, maybe I'll find you and let you know." He responds with a small smile.
