The Grotto

Disaster has struck!
Years ago, an earthquake broke open several entrances into a deep, winding series of subterranean systems. It was thought that deep below, underground rivers snaked their way below Moladion. Now, flooding in the Northern reaches of Moladion has proven this theory to be true.

The Grotto is almost entirely submerged. Many of the entrances are completely inaccessible, and those that are only extend a few hundred feet before ending in water. The lower entrances, however, act almost like a giant drain for Moladion. Water pours down into the Grotto's maw as powerful rapids and waterfalls, and large amounts of debris have build up throughout the area. It can be exceptionally dangerous to travel due to the risk of flash-flooding and dams suddenly breaking, but the Grotto does offer the most consistent access across the floodwaters because of those dams.

Note:The Grotto will return to normal once 25 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes.

Sabriel had never thought of actually searching for any imprint, because he never had a reason to do so. It seemed wrong to want to find someone to be bound to, when he had been bound to someone else when just a child. Of course that was entirelly different from imprinting, but it was still a duty to fulfill, and Sabriel had been terrible at it as it was. Yes, he had been there for Micteca in the past, accepted what their parents had decreed of them, and then he had fallen for the tiny female. It had become more than duty, but the problem was that he had always been a gypsy, and she was a pack wolf. It had caused him to not be there when she needed him, and for that, Sabriel decided he wasn't fit to be with anyone that wasn't a gypsy, and could not give his heart to anyone else anyway.

It was a difficult path to be on, but he wasn't going to complain over it. He did not need a romantic thing in his life; he wanted his purpose to be the gypsies, to bring it back to what it had once been. Still, he had found none that wished such a lifestyle here, and hadn't seen anyone of the past gypsies, either. Sabriel wasn't sure where it would leave him, to never form the group back up, to be truly alone in that sense. Still, he did have an anchor to Moladion now, in the form of this new imprint. He would forever want to know she was safe, would always want to be there for her if she needed someone to talk to. But there was little else he could give her, even though she had given him the sight of color...

He supposes that he doesn't much mind the whole thing at this point, because it was good to stay in Moladion, to have something that bound him somewhere. If there wasn't something like that, then he could just go wander off again without thinking twice on it. Not really a great thing, and Kellin would be upset if he just vanished, though maybe it would push his brother to find a proper home.. It caused a moment of concern within him, but he forced it away, needing to pallitate the emotions. At Anemone's words to him, he nods his head. "I just do not want you to think I'm trying to mess with you or change your lifestyle. Mostly, I feel protective of you, and want you to stay safe and happy." He adds with a gentle smile. It did not need to be anything more.
