At the densest section of the forest, there is a brief clearing where a steady flow of water streams down the slippery stone staircase. The water here is cool and refreshing. Staircase Falls has been rumoured to be the place where reality is met by magic; where peaceful spirits dwell. They are rumoured to have healing powers that are used to help the desperately hurt, though no one has experienced this, except for, perhaps, Kaive.

Such an interesting encounter to behold. I stalk behind Carnival, ever her shadow as she starts to recruit new members. I, too, am interested in bringing in new monsters, the likes of which will make the wolves of Blossom shiver in fear. I even brought along a friend this time, if you want to count Vingi as such. I never really took the time to know the male but if he's managed to stick around Malignant Felicity this long then he must be worth something. I'm willing to let him prove it. I turn my gaze to him as we crouch in the shadows to watch the interaction. "What do you think of the one before you? A pitiful excuse of a predator or potential? Grief that can be turned into blind rage, harnassed and focused to something deadly, indestructable?" My molten gold gaze remains on his for a few moments more, awaiting his reply before I turn back to the wolves before me.

Carnival has always been good with words and this is no different. The creature smells of a fresh kill, a rabbit perhaps? She's also fresh from a run, her pretty sides heaving with each breath. But there's a vicious smell to her, one that's awakening the craving beast inside of myself. My tail lashes against my back legs, my gaze intense as Carnival baits her beautifully, hinting at the pack but she never made it far enough to reel her in. Like the shadows calling back a dear friend, she disappears from the scene and my brows knit together in puzzlement. The pretty creature is left to ask questions to the seemingly empty air, asking why anyone would have interest in her and with a knowing look to the beast at my side, I step out so she can see me, my midnight coat gleaming as I meet her gaze. "My interests are singular in quality and you, my dear, happen to meet the criteria." I move in close, leaning in to take a deep whiff of her intoxicating perfume. My voice lowers in tone, rumbling off my tongue like a growl.

"Do you seek vengeance for your pain? Destruction for your ruined soul?" My eyes burn into hers. "Take it out on the world. Let them all feel your fury. Join us in Malignant Felicity and you will get all the chaos your pretty little heart could ever ask for." I purr the last words, tilting my head as I await her response. I move my paze over to the trees where Vingi last was, hoping to meet his gaze. "The shadows are hungry and it's time we all heed their call." I say it out loud, though whether its to either wolf in my company or just to the world in general is a mystery. I turn my attention back to the wolf before me, bowing my head now as my hackles rise. "I am Devil May Cry. What may I call you?" I wait for her answer before I take a daring step toward her. "What do you say? Do you need more convincing?"
