During the day, sentries guard the sleeping. When the sky is dark and the moon dances with the stars, this is when the real fun begins. Munashii Gekko's forest is the only haunt where you can find your local misfits all in one place. A land of the forbidden and forgotten, a place that is riddled with dangers of a whole different kind. The wolves here have long misplaced their rightful minds, and now live like creatures damned to prowl and lurk through the night. It's easy to lose yourself here, sanity was sure to fade away and wither; there was never anything normal about this nefarious nest. The silent threats that whispered in the breeze were enough to deter even the largest of demons around. It was not strength nor wit that ensured your survival here with Eric, and challengers would be torn down with a morose lethality - there was nothing left in his cold blue eyes that promised mercy to anyone who dared to overstep their worth. So, would you give up the sun for the moon and stars? Do you have enough vigor to become a well regarded sentry? - Put on a game face to step up and pass the sepia king's test or turn and leave before he catches your scent. You never know who wants to snack on your delicious blood in this forest.

Robins will wear their feathery fire

Boom.

Fiery orange and blue eyes shot open to the crack of thunder, watching silently from the safety of an underground den as lighting danced in bold streaks across the sky. The young teen watched with interest as the rain pounded into the edge of her home, sliding mud down the small bank of the entrance and eroding the soil. It wasn't until the roof began to crumble with water weight that she began scramble out into the storm, thin legs carrying her over to the nearest up-rooted tree in an attempt to keep dry. A soft, foggy sigh escaped her jowls as she shook the crystal liquid and mud from her fox-like hide. Her tail twitched with temper. Might as well do something now that she was awake.

The usually royal, proud mistress now walked with her head low and fur clinging to her feminine figure in a soggy fashion, tail hanging limply behind her as she slowly squished through the mud and towards higher ground. She walked and walked for what seemed like hours, though it had only been about half an hour, and the storm was at its peak. The thick fog and moisture was enough to drown her senses, leaving her unknowingly stumbling into Munashii territory.

The girl crawled with ears pinned to a large oak tree that had rotted within the center, leaving a hollow hut for her to seek shelter within. She had never been here, though it seemed safe, and apparently local. Tracks of others littered the floor in all surrounding areas, and she began to wonder where she had managed to wind up. Shaking her fiery hide free of mud and rain, she curled up into a ball and watched the storm play out, waiting for this nightmare to end.
