There was a lot to think over from what he had been told, and if ever there was a wolf that Riot should know here after the high counsil, then it would be Istas. Why? Mostly because it was the rank that had been spoken of, and what it was for, what it had entailed. It was, as first glance, the rank Riot wanted. Or so Aithne had indicated to him. It made little sense to Riot that it was still a rank that could be challenged for, as it wasn't really something to do with fighting. Still, that wasn't the purpose of his wanting to meet the male. Any of the higher rankings were something to know of, and Riot was going down the little list one by one. He'd see about a group meeting for the others within Iromar later, but this was the situation to deal with today.

Riot wasn't very fond of hijacking a rank via brute force, so he would much rather see if anything else suited him well enough to keep him content, rather than mess with things how they were. Of course there was no worry at all while he was merely a guest looking to see if this was the right place for him. Aithne kept mentioning the Minos rank, though Riot thought that might be too boxed in of a rank for his tastes. He wanted to be out there in the world and doing good for his pack, not stuck in here where the information would continue to become more and more limited as time wore on. For awhile he could see himself fine with the prospect of keeping close to home for a time, but.. eventually he would want to roam for information to bring back. It was his way.

He could not help wanting to know more of everything and anything, and he found that it was also a curse to have. To always want and seek more knowledge could be a burden, just as having such high standards were. Riot had learned these things the hard way, but he was adapting. He would always adapt, because there was no other way to survive. He would hone his fighting skills if he must, for now that he knew how it went, when he did earn a rank he might have to eventually defend it from others would would rather take that way to it instead of the tasks. It was a thing of uncertainty, but he would see what more he could learn of this pack and go from there. There was still so very much to deal with.

The white male with the strange white eyes had come closer, and so Riot figured that must be who he had called to him. There were no descriptions given out on those with ranks, so he could only deal with what he knew and go from there. Plus, why would anyone else come over when someone specific had been called along? At the friendly tail-wave, Riot allowed a swaying of his own in a good natured manner, nodding his head when the white male had stopped. The words indicated that this was who he had called, and Riot smiled slightly. "My name is Iscariot, guest to Iromar. I've been given time to decide if I would like to make this my home, and figured what better way to spend that time than to meet those with ranks?" He responded evenly, ears flicking forward.
