The property owners at this time have not yet agreed to allow a known object to be placed in the spot, so the photo is inconclusive. It is not identifiable as a mountain lion as it is. Even If the size is determined to be consistent with a mountain lion, it still will not be confirmable without some other evidence. Still getting occasional sightings in the towns nearby. It will eliminate a bobcat if the animal is found to be large however. Thus far none of the experts that have reviewed it have been able to say with certainty. If its a mountain lion, it will have a large range and possibly be seen elsewhere. Replies:
