Boss's Decree

"For every brother you bring to our
midst, you may keep a trinket all to
yourself. She will not be sullied or traded, unless you deem otherwise. But should you bring a mare here without a new brother first, then I will consider her property of the Lagoon as a whole
and do with her as I see fit." - Garmr

Rules

• The Lagoon is where homeless stallions come to live as a brotherhood. Mares may not live here except as captives or companions for the Leaders.

• Soldiers keep mainly to fighting, Thieves keep mainly to raiding, and Associates may do both, neither, or act as diplomats. Members may issue their own battles and raids, but should generally consult the General, Marauder or Boss for permission.

• All major decisions are determined by vote, but the Boss maintains order within the Lagoon and has the final say.

• Elections for leadership positions will be held every TLI summer, provided the qualifying criteria are met.

• You can find detailed information about how the Lagoon works on the Rules page.

• Upon election, the Boss can issue a rule for members to follow during their tenure. It is up to leadership to enforce.

i feel you coursing through my veins

& in your presence, my heart's on fire,& with each word, this love grows stronger

The land had been frozen in a vivid fall of snow and sleet. Frost covered the tufts of yellowing grass that poked out of the snow and the leaves that dangled from the trees. It was mystical, enthralling. While her own slimmer body type faired much better in warmer desert climates she had always liked the delicate appearing snow that bite with so much force despite its beautiful appearance. It seemed almost metaphorical, it represented so many so well, just as the fire stood for fieriness. The fire. She was mean to love it after growing up in a desert but although she could deal better than most due to her Arabian heritage all it did was dry up the water and make most irritable under the scorching summer sun. The cold though, it seeped through most and sharpened their senses alike to a night in the forest may.

Time passes as she watches the frozen lake. It is not long before a stallion of equally dark pelt come towards her. Her gaze diverts to him, dark orbs studying him as he approaches with an almost lazy stride. She is much smaller than him and much more slender. He was more filled out, though by no means thick. His muscles were defined, but not overly present and his head held eyes of a light brown/hazel colour. In comparison she feels like a mouse, much less intimidating though by no means is she intimidated, in fact it was far from that. She almost liked the feeling she was that was burning in contrast to the icy climate inside her blood. Although it wasn't quite new it to the black mare it still sparked excitement.

He speaks now, a deep voice musing soft syllables. “Such a shame, another little bird blown off course by winter” His words, while not the most polite are of entertainment to the lady and she responds with a small lilting smile on her onyx maw. ”Do you have a name, little bird?” He extends his own muzzle to her and she returns the gesture.

She replies swiftly, her own feminine vocals softly speaking honeyed syllables, "Empyrea. Although of course, little bird is fine too." Her words are tinged with amusement, echoing light laughter. "And what of your own name, my dark wolf?

& even if I lose this feeling,I'm sure I'll just fall in love with you again
