Mockingbird did not fear old age taking Dove away from him, for he was years older than she was and would go first if it was indeed old age that parted them. Of course there would always be other concerns on how things could happen; accidents and natural caused problems, but Mockingbird did not want to think that way. He was often concerned over her pregnancy as it was, and he just wanted everything to go well. He was doing all that he could to ensure that, getting her whatever she needed and asked for, trying to make sure she rested enough. Mockingbird had no problems picking up the slack in hunting for them both. The prey was often smaller things, but he was willing to hunt more and more to ensure that Dove and the unborn were healthy.

He was not petulant as he waited there with Dove, content to simply soak up her presence and wonder what it might be like to live here, raise their family among the trees. It was a pretty place, and probably the most comforting one in Mockingbird's mind. Sure, he had been born a prince to Judila, which was now Glorall, but he couldn't see himself being all that interested in living so near the salt water and all the sand. It had changed too much from what it had been, so there were no more reasons to hold to what had passed by. With Dove by his side and the brilliant future with offspring, Mockingbird did not need anything else. He would be glad to simply live out his life here if they were accepted, because he had all the things he never thought he would before.

When the male came closer, Mockingbird attempted a friendly look for the male (not hard while beside Dove, of course; his very essence seemed to beam with joy around her), ears perking towards him to give the proper attention. At the words, Mockingbird gave a nod to the male. "I am Mockingbird, and this is Dove." He glanced at her as if she were the very air that he breathed before continuing; "And we would like to know if we could join Taviora and raise our family here." He said, eyes back on Coszcotl. The male seemed like a good, easy-going type of wolf, which meant they'd probably get along quite well. Either way, Mockingbird just wanted to be happy and keep his family safe; there were no other agendas.
