Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Why he had gotten color to his eyesight could not be otherwise explained, though he did wish he could make his younger brother better understand it. However, that meant that he must first understand it too, and Sabriel did not think that was going to happen for him. There was no rhyme or reason aside from imprinting that he could think of, so there it was. Sabriel wished he could better explain why these kinds of things happened, but he did not have the biggest understanding of imprinting, either. Only some stories that he had been told of when he was younger. It wasn't really a lot to go on, so he could give as much information as he had and hoped that it would be enough.

Whether or not Kellin felt so was another matter, but the boy could always go and ask someone else about it, since there were an array of imprinted wolves here. Perhaps some of those found family members might be of some help on the situation. Sabriel couldn't be sure of any of it to that extent, but he had given what he knew to Kellin. That should suffice for now, having a word for it, a general definition of what it was considered around these parts. Of course it was something about Moladion, how the land had something that just.. connected others. Sabriel couldn't find any way to explain why here and not in other places, either. There was a lot he had on that, because it hadn't been a big deal to him in youth.

So with the questions he couldn't answer, Sabriel simply sighed. "I do not know. Much of it is still a mystery to me. It was never a big deal to learn more about it, because I wasn't thinking about it back then. I was betrothed, so I couldn't think of anything but duty to my family." He responded, frowning a little. It had become much more than duty to him over time, but that was probably rare. Either way, he had been grateful about it, though he had still failed. That was something he could not shake away or make better. He had failed Micteca and failed his family. That was something he couldn't get away from, no matter how far he went. And now... he simply didn't know how to face it.
