She moves so effortlessly toward the call that seems to light up the sky itself, beautiful hazel and blue eyes lifting cheerily toward the hills as she expects to see the newcomers soon enough. It has not been since Rayen joined Asteraia that another has called at the borders, as far as she is aware, and the prospect of such has her eager to greet them.

A light bark is given in recognition of their arrival upon the plains’ border before she advances upon them with a placid expression. Her tail is held higher than their own although it in no way signifies that she holds any role of alpha within the ranks. They seem amiable enough; young still and yet they hold promise for becoming fine specimen within a few years. Boys of silver and gold, it seems. Surely they would be a welcome asset to the pack as it continues to grow and thrive along the coast. But Rayen is not the judge of that, she is only here to ensure the strength of Asteraia’s borders as her rank demands. It doesn’t hurt to poke around while she is at it.
