Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

It had to be the right time to go and see mother's grave, because Solitaire did not want to rush into it for the wrong reasons and tarnish her memory or his own of her. No, he would wait until he was ready and in the right mindset to go and visit her grave. It was a lot to take in so suddenly, too. He had to give himself some time to heal from the news, as well. Solitaire had come home hoping to see her as well as his siblings, and to hear this was heart-wretching to him. He knew that these things happened, that life could be harsh, cruel, but to have this happen as it had, to hear of it so long after it had happened? Solitaire felt crushed.

But he did want to go after the wolf that had killed mother. Because of how Tristan felt on the matter, Solitaire wasn't going to bring it up or talk about these particular feelings, but that did not mean that they weren't still there. Something to keep to himself as he looked for clues to the matter. Though he supposed he needed to focus here first, on what he had and his home. So he would. A grin was given to his brother and the nudge to his shoulder, and Solitaire pushed his nose to Tristan's cheek in brotherly affection. He nods at the words, happy to be here, glad that through all the bad parts, he still had Tristan around.
