Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

now that i am coming down; won't you be my solid ground?

It was exciting to be a part of something bigger, something with meaning to it. Sway was glad to have a pack and family, glad to be able to make friends and meet new wolves. So far she was happy to have come to Glorall, because these two seemed like such good company, and that was one of the things that Sway often missed the most. Company of others in a non negative setting. Metting them made her think better of Glorall, because if these two were any indication of what Glorall was like, then it must be a good place and worthy of an alliance with Spirane, right? At least this was what Sway was thinking thus far. She knew she still had to hear what the members actually said on the matter, but if they were so nice here, she couldn't see how any bad could be spoken of... but Sway was ever so optimistic. She couldn't help it right now, when so much was going so well.

These two were friendly to her and to each other, and that gave off good vibes for her. Sway already decided she rather liked the two of them and wanted to learn more on a more personal level. Though she wondered if she should try now or wait until later... honestly she felt a bit all over the place on this task and how fun it was to meet others who were of the kind sort. She was eager to get to know them, and Glorall, and anyone else they threw at her. New beginnings and a fresh start. That sounded nice for a pack standing. A pack that took in all kinds of wolves, and opportunities to take. A fair leader, with bonds through pack activities. That sounded right up Spirane's ally for.. allies. Sway was glad to hear these things being said, feeling like there would be good things to report back about this visit for sure.

Sway nodded to Tristan, tail still wagging behind her. She looked over to Cersei next, curious as to what the female might add to all that. Connected through something other than blood. That was a good thing for different wolves, Sway thought. Of course Sway did note the shift of the female, that something about it all seemed uncomfortable to a degree. The words spoken next told her why, and Sway nods, tail less quick, but still slightly moving. "That isn't always bad though, is it?" Sway asks, blinks. She hopes she isn't overstepping, because she knows it could be a touchy subject and she really doesn't want to upset anyone. Yet if Eden was a good leader, then being ruthless when needed was good too, right?
