Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

He would keep looking, searching for more information on the matters of attacks out here. Yes, he knew that a part of him did not want to solve this mystery, the one which had led him here to these fields and the blood. The trail that he had followed from Iromar. It made him uncomfortable to be so leery of learning new information, because that was often what his life was made up of. The thing that kept him thriving. Knowledge was power to him, and to refuse power even in some small way made Riot wonder what could be so wrong in it. Why his instincts were telling him to avoid it when his mind clearly wanted to pursue the situation. For himself, for his task and the rank he wanted to possess, he needed to keep going. He would give his all because that was the kind of creature that he was. Nothing less would do.

He inhaled quietly, glancing at the dried blood, the flattened areas of grasses and plants. Riot knew well the result on one half of this fight, and it wasn't very pretty. Anyone that would do that sort of thing... wasn't someone Riot really wanted to meet in a bad mood. Perhaps he did not wish to meet them at all. He knew he wasn't interested in meeting some of the others who had been attacking, either. Who was to know what set them off in the first place? Sure, Riot was suppost to find out that information too, but how was he to figure out what made these creatures tick? Still, he would keep searching and looking around to gather all that he could of those who were attacking others. That was his task, and he would keep going.

Movement and sound has him looking up from the area, catching sight and smell of someone he'd met before on his pack visits. He gives her a smile when she speaks, dipping his head at her. "Yes, I finally found one that suits me." He responded, thinking of what had led him here to this, all the goals that banked on him finding out more about these attacks and so forth. His goals were unwavering still, and he would get there. He told himself that. It had taken more time than he had wanted to get even to where he was now, but that was fine. He had waited and did it right, made the best choice for himself by being patient and making sure he was doing the right thing for his own well being. And Riot would keep going, keep pressing forward because he couldn't stand to do anything less than that.

To the words of investigating, he gave a soft sigh, then a small smile to her. "Yes. I have seen one of the particapants of this battle and it is not a pretty sight. It's the other one that I am looking for." A pause, a roll of his shoulders. "Of course I'm seeking information on any wolf that attacks others for a pack task. Names, what they look like, reasons for attacking, where they live... if you know anything on any of them that could help.." Because that was what he was here for, what he was doing standing here among the dried blood and remnants of a battle. Then again, from the looks of the other guy, it seemed less like a battle and more like a one sided mutilation. Of course Riot had no idea what the other one loooked like as far as wounds and such went.
