Beer on the ship

In 1953, we were the supply ship for U.S.Bases in the Med. I was a DC3 and of course we inspected the Holds on the Sounding & Security Watches. One Hold contained 4000 cases of beer which went to the E.M. Clubs, etc.
Naturally, some of the cases had "M.T." cans in the pallets when we unloaded them at various ports.
It was warm beer -- but it tasted GOOD!
