Anthony, Chris hit the DL list Posted on June 6, 2015 at 06:36:51 PM by Jeff "Laca" Conway
Two top NJAA players have landed on the Disabled List.
Anthony, certainty one the best amateur jai-alai players from the west coast of Florida for the past 20 years, had major knee surgery two weeks ago and is out an estimated 6 months. His anticipated return is around Thanksgiving time.
Also star player Chris the Kidd was placed on the DL list for 30 days on May 26th with a strained muscle in his throwing arm. He can still play, but he has hit the gym and lifting weights was preventing any healing in the strained muscle, so laying off for 30 days is best.
His expected return should be around June 25th. Chris has emerged as a top 5 player recently and was voted by Laca as the MIP of last year - Most Improved Player. His play - previously on the small court using a lacrosse ball- increased radically the day Laca came back with the Matt Ball over a couple years ago. Replies: There have been no replies.
