Enocra Woodland

Pine, spruce and firs alike...
Dense coniferous forests cover the woodlands, with clearings, paths and the occasional wildberry shrub throughout. Pine, spruce and fir make up much of the forest in the east, with the forest becoming swampier in the west towards Mecor Valley. In the west, cypress trees dominate, with fallen trees creating bridges across and throughout the stillwaters.

Aldonza was having a good time with her dance, roaming around outside of Spirane for a bit. She was young yet and had a lot to learn, but she wanted to get the art of elegance and movement down the most. It could help her in later years, she thinks, and that was precisely what she needed. Or so her young mind would tell her. Experience, too, would be a welcome thing. Friendships, if she could gain good ones, too. Yet she had been silent for so long, and that did not help her out in the friends department. Or any other one, for that matter. Oh, she knew that being quiet and away might be best to avoid dangers, but what was the good in that if she didn't really live life?

This coming from someone who had never been through true physical problems. Of course she had dealt with other things, emotional traumas. Her mother abandoning Myra and herself, the fact that Myra had a deformity of being deaf.. that did not help Aldonza bud into a flower these past two years. She had been looking out for her sister, trying to figure out the best courses of action. It was no east feat, and even Glorall had been left behind in concern over the new leader's views, the fact that maybe Myra would not be tolerated there. Yet now Aldonza found herself in Spirane as a homefront, and Myra was... somewhere. Aldonza had lost track of her sister, sad to say.

Except that it was sort of liberating. Perhaps that made it all the more sad, but she needed a life too. Myra had survived these two years and if she had done that, then she'd be fine. So Aldonza danced. She did it for herself and the life she wanted. She did it because she felt free now. Though it was mid-dance that she noted someone moving quickly away from her, and that had Aldonza slowing to a stop and turning around, prancing back to see what was going on. She stuck her face into the berry bushes, more curious than disgusted by the smell of them. What she saw made her gasp and jerk her head back out, side-stepping from the spot and trying to figure out what to say.. or do... or anything at all.
