EYE COLOR
Both eyes are an intense amber fading to a pale gold near the iris. They are speckled with an almost fluorescent green that’s only visible when light is shining directly on her pupils.
COLORATION
Her coat has a dark reddish-cream base lightening to a bright white at the bottom of her snout. The top of her nose is russet, which appears again interspersed with black fur in a line running up to the top of her head and rimming her ears. Gray fur runs from between and over her eyes circling around the side of her face and expanding across her back and unto her tail. The top of her back is accented with more black fur interspersed with dark cream and gray fur, ending with a black tip to her tail.

She possesses small but solid stature with a decent amount of muscle. She’s not especially girly and may sometimes be mistaken for an effeminate male. Her appearance is not particularly noteworthy – she is rather typical of what one might imagine when asked to visualize a wolf; though perhaps with slightly longer ears.

PERSONALITY
Kai is tomboyish and tends to be direct (read: blunt) when interacting with others. She is confident to the point where her ego and big mouth sometimes lands her into trouble. Though she would rather avoid confrontation, she is not one to back down from a challenge, even one where she is at a disadvantage. She is sociable and is constantly looking for situations and companions that capture her interest – however, she is at ease whether she is surrounded by good company or wandering on her lonesome. She occasionally shows some juvenile quirks (e.g., exhibiting pup-like behavior), and doesn't pay much mind to such silly notions as “dignity”. She has a self-proclaimed open-mind, though she becomes a hypocrite when faced with anything that severely differs from her own point of view.

The mottled shadow of tree leaves swayed lackadaisically across the ground, an intricate mess of cool silver-blue intertwined with the bold gold and green of sunlight and grass. Cicadas chirped in a disjointed symphony, unaware of their lone audience nestled comfortably amidst the gnarled roots of a particularly large tree – not that she could really blame them. The soft grays and magnificent russet of her coat blended quite nicely into this merry little scene, rendering her practically invisible. A useful talent had she the need to hide, yet unnecessary for the lethargy of the day. In fact, it seemed almost a burden now, as no one noticed her lounging by her lonesome. To put it precisely: Kai was bored. Her private little concert was nice at first, but there was really only so many ways a creature as simple as an insect could chirp, and after a good few hours they definitely exhausted the extent of their creativity.
Had there been a lake nearby she would not have hesitated to bound in, leaping and diving playfully through the cool water. In fact, there was nothing more she could possibly want to do on such a hot day – the weather was absolutely perfect for such a romp! She huffed longingly at the whimsical fantasy – and a fantasy it would have to remain for now as she hadn’t even the energy to lift her head from its leisurely resting place upon her legs. Indeed, should no one stumble upon her lazing, she may very well fall asleep!
