Her curiosity was something surious in itself. She did not quite understand it, but perhaps it is something her family would call teenage rebellion combined with the desire to succeed. She notices how his body tenses up as she moves, but they are still strangers and that is not an odd action at all for many. Yet he seems somewhat receptive of her, and she does take note of every little action that he takes towards her. There was nothing delicate about then male before her, nothing light at all, in fact, he was heavy upon the ground, but she did not fear him...yet.
He explains this odd thing that is his god to her. She listens with dark ears pressing forward. He speaks of the Shade, how he is a vessel for the god. She wonders if it is perhaps like a parasite that she had seen on prey, but perhaps not. She was not really sure, but the parasites were ugly little things that wiggles within bodies still living. She finds a brow lifting slightly as he mentions that it is...interested in her, this Shade. What does this mean? She wonders many things, wonders what it is she should do. Perhaps he is simply mad, but what would a good assassin do? She thinks they would play along, figure the ins and outs and strike at the right moment. Of course, she had no plans on killing him, she simply wanted the...skills of her assassin line. The way he talked did change, but she simply shrugged it off, smiling slightly at his words.
"Interested?" she asks, her own words seeming to be laced with interest in what he had to say. It was then when he demands that they go, that they leave the dryness of the caves into the thunderous world outside. It is still raining heavily, easy to tell at the sound is loud upon her ears. She wiggles her nose slightly, rainbow eyes glancing towards the entrance in which they came. She does not know why he demands they leave, but she knew she had to go and figure this all out, to prove she had the skills to learn about someone so strange and to gain his trust.
"Where are we going?" she inquires, her dark paws following his lighter ones into the sheet of rain. The world outside the grotto was dark and grey. The clouds were thick and heavy above, with no sign of leaving. Flashes of light cracked in the distance as she lowered her ears a bit. She was somewhat...unsure of this. She wanted to find out more, but part of her felt her mother would not approve, that she would worry her. But, she would go back to Diveen afterwards. She had to grow up anyway and could not stay cooped up in a den forever. She smirks slightly, water soaking her thin form as she lopes forward, ears hungrily waiting for the name of the odd male as they go...well, somewhere. |
