I find that my fangs lay into flesh. It is tough and nothing like the prey I am used to. There are so many strange creatures in this world, so many and the strangest seem to call crawl from the water. This was no crab though. This creature was much larger, and I can tell their jaws are well formed to creature much damage. I am not a...fan of these creatures. They are a threat, and one that I had to protect Aithne against- even if it means my own life. I of course considered my sister as well, and all others, yet the draw to Aithne was...something beyond my own comprehension.

I squeeze down, snapping and ripping as I feel my adrenaline running. Aithne is near and her own desires fuel me like gas to a flame. It is like a hot flash of a moment, one intense until I realize that the creature that was our prey collapsed after much struggle that even shakes off my own jaws. My eyes seem to widen in horror as I see the creature lang upon my sister. I rush to her side, jumping around the creature as Aithne lifts with her own jaws the weight of the gator off of my sister. I feel my breath tight within me, my eyes filled with worry as I realize the creature is dead, unable to harm anyone.

I huff out slightly in relief as Aithne speaks, I look upon Vesper ensuring she is not overly injured before looking back to Aithne, my own eyes looking her over, perhaps in a manner more...adoring than I intended, as she lifts to call the pack to eat. I resist all urges to sing with her, only failing slightly as a whine like noise creeps out of my throat. Vesper is here to give me additional comfort, her licks slightly surprising me although they do make me grin. I bump my head against hers and then lick her upon the forehead, allow her to eat first as I inspect her form as she does so. She looks...okay, but I will have to check on her later to make sure.


I then allow my lavender eyes to move back to Aithne, the other pack members simply...not on my mind. It was difficult. She was my soul, my all and everything. I move next to her, lining up parallel with my head next to hers. I cannot imagine eating before she does- she will always come first. I watch as the others move in, even the white male who seemed a bit more...odd, my ears flickering to listen to what he says although I do not yet understand the meaning of it. Vesper eats and this makes me pleased, to know my sister can find a life here outside of Glorall. I turn my head back to Aithne, grinning slightly.

"After you Empress, slayer of dragons," I say playfully. Dragons were things of myth, but things I think were based off of these gators. I allow my nose to go forward, feeling nature to urge her forward with the slightly touch upon the shoulder. I had not yet initiated touch between us, and yet now it feels right, to let her know that she comes first when it comes to food- and to me.
