Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

biting down
it feels better
He is larger than the infinitesimal figure of Sever and so as she plays this game, there is a cautiousness as to how far she presses him. The sharp clicking of his teeth is cause for her ears to press tighter to her skull in response as she submits below him; to any wolf this is a pleasing gesture although this boy seems to be unnerved by it. Her whine provokes him into a stance of ferocity as his fur bristles and his lips reveal the pearly fangs from beneath as he towers over her.

Her subservient licking at his chin only angers him further as his jaws reach downward to snap upon her ear in a reprimanding manner, causing a yelp to burst from her vocals as they pinched her tightly. He yells at her for doing such a thing and the way in which he is so flustered over it causes her to giggle inwardly. So touchy. Yet she remains in a position low to the ground as his demeanor changes slightly, although the distaste still lingers like venom within his tone. A challenge? Oh, how fun.

She obeys his command and rises to her paws, still shorter than him by much, but she feels better in this stance than laying with her belly on the ground. Such is the life of the deceiver, always partaking in roles so lowly and demeaning. She nods as he offers her a chance to be recognized by the alpha and takes off toward the trees in search of something of substance. If he were picky then that was too terribly bad because she would take what she could get at this moment in time; of which happened to be an injured seagull. Two toned eyes stare at it for a moment as she assesses its strength before jogging forward and placing one paw quickly upon its broken wing.

It flops wildly in hopes to escape her grasp and yet her weight is still too much for it, only causing its wing to break further in multiple places. Her other paw reaches to press onto his body as it retaliates, swinging its head to snap at her leg and pinching into the skin. Her hackles stiffen in agitation as she swings her head down to snap its neck between her jaws. Easy in comparison to other animals according to is structure. Pleased, she keeps the neck of the bird between her mouth and jogs back to the silver boy with its wingtips touching the ground as the moves. It is dropped before him with a soft wag of her tail in success and yet she is still wary of his displeasure.
