Not being sure of the personal consequences of finding out the truth was not a valid reason to be keeping himself from learning the truth. He needed to understand what was going on, wanted to know more about his past to piece it all together. He had learned quiet a few theories in his time here, but he does not believe any of them to hold up enough to soothe the hurt that had stemmed from childhood. He will not let anyone see it, because that part of himself needed to stay hidden. A lot of pieces needed to be locked away on the inside.

He was finally getting somewhere with his life and did not want any more complications from the past to rise up against him, but on the same note he shouldn't allow that to keep him from any kind of knowledge. Learning was everything to him, the gaining of information. He had to hold up through all of this, there was no other way to be. So finally he had come here where the scent of that one male had been the strongest, and all he found were the trails that were not quite fresh enough. Riot felt that maybe he had waited too long and the male had moved on.

He was upset with himself at these thoughts, and he knew that all he could really do now was to see if he could pick up a trail elsewhere. Or return to Iromar to rest and mull over what his next move could be. He had some information for Aithne, but he did not feel as if it was enough. Not to show the height of his skills, but who really wanted to talk about all these attacks anyway? The ones doing it seemed to be the secritive sort, which made sense. But someone had to know more than this. Riot just had to find out who and where.

Of course Riot was giving a few last sniffs to the area that had been found the most pungent here when something else was caught in his nose. Nothing he really knew of, but it got his attention and he glanced around. What he saw made him pause; this wolf had been through quite and ordeal, and it looked not unlike what had happened to the white wolf that had come to Iromar. Had this female been another victim? Riot wished to know more, but he wondered how to go about asking for such sensitive information.

He gave her a polite nod of his head, doing his best not to stare at the areas where she'd been wounded or things that were missing; not wanting to come off as rude. "Hello there. Are you alright?" He asked this because maybe she needed help of some sort, and Riot didn't want to just rush into questions if she was still hurt or anything. That would never work out in his favor, he felt sure. So he would wait it out and try to be polite and helpful. Go from there and see if she knew anything that could be of help. But to look at her.. how could she not know something.
