The forest stands tall and lush here; ancient trees reach weather-twisted arms to the sky, fighting monster-like storm clouds back with their interlacing fingers. Shadow seems to lurk everywhere you look, but it spills calmly, coolly, inspiring a sense of stealthy calm or protection rather than unease. That is, if you've forgotten what kind of creature might be stalking just out of sight...Abendrot is a land cradled by the dark woods on all sides; in the center, some of the larger trees stay behind to reveal a small plateau - a citadel where this pack can gather and defend itself from invaders. There are, of course, softer sides to the land. Clearings here and there allow the sun to throw down its rays in incongruously resplendent gold showers. Ignore the lingering scents of blood spattered here and there along the borders: those do not concern you. The river on one edge of the territory is playful enough when it hasn't been gorged by violent rain. You can choose to note the ragged claw marks raked down tree trunks and the forest floor as friendly "Home Sweet Home" signs, if you wish.

All who treasure loyalty, order, victory, and the occasional indulgence of raw visceral pleasure are welcome, once they've been approved by the ever-watchful eyes of Abendrot's Alpha. But keep one thing in mind: no matter what your motive, this is not a fool's Paradise. This is the land of soldiers, assassins, and spies. This is ABENDROT.

Make up your mind quickly and prepare to prove your worth. You wouldn't want to add to those blood spatters, would you...?

Havok

wolf

Are you going to age with grace?

It was time.

Never in a million years did Havok think she would survive on her own, wandering about blossom on her three good legs and destroyed shoulder, but she had,and now it was time to return. Time to return to the beast who had turned her this way, who had shaped her and shown her that anything was possible. The beast who had been left with a torn face and merely one dark orb after their gruesome battle. The one who had taken her in, despite the circumstances. Kershov. One single multi-hued dome swiveled about her skull, golden gaze searching the terra for any trace of the arctic czar, tattered tail swaying behind muscular hips.

Havok was a beast. After the re-setting of her shoulder, she had pushed herself to do her own sort of therapy every day, working her bruised and torn muscles to the limit, building herself back up from scratch. Her body was lined in thick muscles, and her hide had grown in thick and full once again, restored to her full beauty other than her scars, and the noticeable limp in her front left shoulder. Her fur was beginning to re-grow around the area of her missing ear, hearing partially restored because she had managed to clean the clotting blood from the canal. She was good as new, or as good as she could possibly get. Now she had to show Kershov what she had done, and hope that she still carried a spot within his home. Surely he would not turn this soldier down, or hold hard feelings?

Massive paws fell unevenly upon the dirt floor, Havoks large frame passing through open passages in the brush as she made her way to abendrot, made her way back home. Her scars burned with the memories of this place, the coyote injury above her tail, the missing ear, the shoulder.. All of them stung with her sudden insecurity. What if he attacked her again? What if he sent her away? She would have nothing left. Abendrot was all she ever had. Shaking the thought, the former omega of the Warriors kingdom passed just over the borders, letting loose the familiar call of Kershov's name.

{Havok} :: {broken lady} :: {old enough} :: {alone} :: {omega of abendrot}
