Ruieze Fields

Open fields and soft grass...
Ruieze stretches far in the midlands of Moladion, laced with streams that feed into Diveen and out of Asteraia at times. The fields are vast, filled with wildflowers and tall, soft grass; trees are sparse, as are rocks, but one can find small shrubs to hide amongst, and the grass itself. To the south of the fields, a Ruieze River widens, and the ground becomes sandy. There is a small, grassy island that can be reached from the banks, with water-birds often congregating on the island rather than the riverbanks.

Things were so very calm in Glorall of late, but he did not mind that, did not mind it at all. He liked being able to wander along the packland to see if anyone needed any help, had any scrapes or cuts that should be looked at. No wound was too small, really. He could make ointments and so forth in his spare time, and he felt like lately there had been much of it. His storage den was stockpiled with so many plants and herbs and other things useful for healing, and he was often going about to find more of the stuff. With the fact that his den had been moved closer to Achlys to keep an eye on her healing and such, the old one had become the place where most of his plant stores were placed. He still had the much needed things in the new den, however.

Today was a good day to go and look for more poppies in the fields, and perhaps marigolds if there were any of those. He had to keep up with his collection, and poppy seeds were a big thing to keep in stock when it came to pain relief and other such things. There would always be room for more of the stuff, and that was Solitaire's goal for the quiet of today. Which was why he was sorting out the mostly hollowed log that he dragged around with him, just in case he needed to use something of healing proportions for those he met when he wandered, and also to obviously store the new plants and such in it to bring it back home with him. It had been such a help to him, one of his better ideas, in fact.

With it finally sorted out, Solitaire grasped the branch that was sticking up, and began pulling it out of Glorall. To the fields he went, hoping that the flowers were in full bloom by now. He had been checking every now and then to see where things were at, and by now the seeds should be ready to go if they were still there. Most healers were pretty keen on the collection of poppy seeds, so Solitaire could only hope some would still be left when he arrived. After some time had passed, he finally made it to the fields where the flowers were abundant, and was pleased to find that there was an array to pick from, and everything he needed and more were there. So he set down his log and went to begin picking.
