Many wolves looking for relaxation come to Blossom Field. A gentle breeze vibrating the blossoming flowers is quite a sight to see and it is quite a favourite for wolves to come with their mates.

A recent fire has ruined the scenery, half the field covered with soot and marked with scars of the flames. The other half is untouched, however.

Grey Wind

The brute had no justification for his anger. If he had been thinking straight he would realize that the female before him had every right to be with a lupine of another pack. He knew that ne could be entirely loyal to their own pack, but still have friends and allies in other packs, but for some reason that was not occurring to him at the moment. The brute had no idea what was wrong with him, why he was so freaking angry, all the time. It was like he had a disease, a plague, that would not leave. It was like he was infected by something that was flowing through his veins, making his pulse constantly beat and his chest ache. He felt like he was constantly about to snap and destroy something, kill the nearest living being. Even though his actions and words were unjustified and wrong, to him in this moment it felt right. The large brute just couldn’t explain it.

Even though Grey Wind was not exactly a kind lupine, he was not exactly mean either. He was not mean for no reason and was not the type to jest at others without a justified reason, but for some reason when he saw Aerten with this Saw Tooth femme, all he could think was pathetic, and useless, and worthless. He knew nothing of this femme, yet he wanted to hurt her, for no reason. His thoughts and actions were completely unjustified, but he couldn’t control the snarl from escaping him, from baring his teeth to both Aerten and this stranger. His stance immediately turned to one of aggression and offense, yellow orbs staring back from one female to the other.

The stranger was the first to respond, her stance mimicking his, getting ready to defend herself if the brute decided to attack, which he still was not sure if he was going to. His mind processed her crippled limb, and dismissed her as a threat, assuming that his superb fighting skills would easily outmatch her own. And then the female had the nerve to speak to him, seemingly unafraid of the brute, despite the pack he came from with its unique reputation. ”How pathetic that a so called soldier has to resort to name calling. We aren’t doing anything wrong so why don’t you just back OFF.” She snapped the last word at him and he responded with an intense growl, daring her to say something else to him.

The brute’s attention was turned to the female he already knew, as she responded with an unsurprising aggressive stance, her own teeth beginning to show. The russet warrior responded to the grey one with a growl of her own, warning him to watch himself. But for some reason none of her warnings registered in his mind, and he could not dispel the anger that was coursing through his veins, that was turning his vision red and blurry, that was driving him insane. The female’s words barely registered in his brain as she spoke. "You're an idiot if you think you can question my loyalties and insult her in the same breath Grey Wind. Now why don't you run off home and stop interfering where you're not wanted, before someone gets hurt." Her eyes bared into his yellow ones, daring him to make another word or move against the Saw Tooth femme.

With Aerten’s words something in the large brute snapped. It was as if his last bit of self-control was gone, as if he could not stop his body from flinging itself at his pack mate, not caring if he hurt her or the stranger. With a snarl, Grey Wind was in the air, fangs bared not noticing whose flesh it sunk into, if anyone’s. His hind limbs pushed off the ground, propelling him through the air, towards the two females that were standing together in defensive stances. For a few moments he could not see anything but red, hot anger, momentarily blinding him. All he could was feel and act instinctually. He lashed out with tooth and claw, trying to sink his fangs into anything he could.

OOC: so I know we said that Aerten could get hurt and Dib would have to take her Saw Tooth and Grey Wind would follow and that’s how he finds Macaria. I very much like that plan but it’s also okay for Grey Wind to get hurt, he’s the one being an asshole here, so both of you feel free to god-mode a bit with him and what happens, as long as it’s nothing permanent or life threatening please. Pixie I didn’t know what you wanted to do for Aerten getting injured so I didn’t really specify so in your next post please feel free to say where and what Grey Wind did, that way I’m not god-moding and doing something to her you don’t want happening =)

"Fight back,"He snarled.
