After a very dry first half of spring, we have more than made
up for our rainfall deficit. The reason for all this rain
is that we are right on the northern edge of a strong hot
90+ temperatures take up the whole southeastern half of
the U.S. We have been on the border of this heat and
the more comfortable 70's to the north.
We will continue with showers and storms coming in
every couple of days for the next week to two weeks.
Behind these storms, we cool off for a day or two
Expect showers Tuesday morning. Maybe a shower in the
afternoon. Then a nice sunny day on Wednesday. Showers
make a return late Thursday. Turning dryer Friday.
Most of Saturday stays dry. But we will have another
chance of showers toward Saturday evening or Saturday
night. More showers and storms around on Sunday.
So every day and half we see storm systems racing at us
with more rain. The good news is that there is no need
to water the grass or flowers.
