“For all evils there are two remedies - time and silence.”― Alexandre Dumas, The Count of Monte Cristo
The first of these bloomed on the mound
That marked a child's resting place in the ground,
Upon which her mother's tears were wept,
Sorrow manifesting to a love that kept
On living beyond even death,
Spring and bloomed and took a breath
And fluttered colors of hope for thee,
A bloom for the world's adversities.
Ysabelle had little regard for trying not to intimidate the filly with all thing unfamilliar, not like Rodrigo was. On the contrary Ysabelle blew past the dark beast and he had to adore seeing the two mares reunite as well. Rodrigo became aware that Ysabelle was keeping an eye on Taytim and her foal even before their resurfacing today back to the main harbor of the Peak. To be true it made Rodrigo more at ease with the Pirate Queen. Perhaps she was not as cold as she often made herself out to be. As for Ysabella, she was excited despite herself to see the petite, darker hued lass. It was hard to admit that Taytim had grown on her and it seemed odd being around Rodrigo without his little sidekick. Rodrigo's face turned to a sort of Now wait a minute… expression, but he could not stop what Ysabelle had said. His ears pricked at Taytim's reply and he grinned warmly. "I never doubted it Miss Taytim."And now it seemed there was a littler sidekick joining the gang.
The graying little tyke braved to leave the mares and neared the stallion who invited her to approach at her leisure. Rodrigo's nose hung low but still the tiny maid needed to rise a bit on unsure limbs to tap his nose. He took a concerned step forward seeing as the babe lost her balance somewhat, her little gesture no more than a gentle touch to him. The filly was nimble, however, and on her own she dashed back to the safety of her mother. Having informally met, Rodrigo no dared a step closer to the petite black chestnut where he brushed her neck and nipped playfully at her shoulder. He had been immensely worried about his friend, and concerned too for her child. Not seeing or knowing where they were was rather hard for the large beast, who would offer all his might but was suddenly rendered helpless. Ysabella was something of a blessed counsel even if she sometimes pulled his nerves and patience. "I am glad to see you both back safe and sound."
It was Ysabel's turn to meet Taika and received a rather blunt snort on the process. This caused Ysabel to pull her delicately carve desert dial back, eying the child with mock insult. After a while she smirked and tilted her head thoughtfully and you night think she were to lash out. But she did not. "Taika huh? A bold spirit is good, we've sacrificed a few to the star demi-god Aldebaran." Ysabella was speaking in jest curious to see what the filly's reaction would be. Perhaps one day Ysabel would tell her the stories of her kin, of Aldebaran the Great or Antares the Adventurer. "I do believe she's every bit as spirited as mummy dear. This is good, an adventurous heart gets the most out of life says I."
