News 08.08.2021
Change was long overdue in Spirane. Now that I have learned who is still an active presence within the pack, the ranks have been updated. As I once took time away from the pack, so too now shall Kalseru. Know that she is still second in command of the pack, as is reflected in her rank. Once you are familiar with the new ranking system, if you would like to change positions or move up in the ranks you need only ask. Let this be a time of new life in Spirane, and a promise of great things to come!

When the snows fall and the white winds blow, the lone wolf dies, but the pack survives.

strange things have happened here,
no stranger would it be

I end up being stuck with the girl that is Magnus' imprint, as she does indeed follow me but certainly does not follow me closely. I mostly ignore her, allowing her to do whatever it is she does behind me. I do not mind leading her where she needs to go, and well...ensuring no one messes with her, but I am not about to be all kissy and lovely on her. You can bet that no one will lay a fang on her. Magnus has deemed her something to protect. I dislike weakness such as her, and wish she would grow a spine, but ever since Mother's death I...I know I have to protect those from the evils of the world. I won't let her know that though.

In time, another figure appears from the depths of the mountains. I hear her bark and my head turns. My pacing ends as I look to her in her approach. My elegant frame stands still, but it is my face that is a hardened beauty. I am still irritated about life, the universe, and everything, and I am not sure how much I can tolerate others grinding on my nerves. There was a risk with coming here. I cannot... control myself well right now, I cannot seem to keep my mouth shut and grind my teeth instead. I do not know what the leader of Spirane will be like, and if she will drive me up the side of the mountain, and I suppose I am about to find out.

And boy, did I find out. Initially when she speaks, it is whatever. And then she goes on. And on. And on. I my eyes almost glazing over in boredom as my tail almost falls flat. Really, Jericho, really? This is what you bring me to? I almost curse him under my breath. I let out a single huff, my face twitching slightly as Fjall responds. I cannot handle this. I cannot deal with a wolf like that, I simply cannot without wanting to rip her tongue out.

"I'm done," I say under my breath, my form about to turn and leave. I will have to apologize to Jericho later, at least I thought, until there is movement and I see him coming up to the woman before acknowledging Fjall. Little warrior? Did I just faintly hear him calling her a little warrior? I almost roll my eyes- that is the last thing I would ever call that girl, unless she is a warrior for cowardice. He asks of our journey, and him being here at least...calms my nerves slightly enough to not want to run off and kill something with my irritation.

"It was fine," I say simply, then being introduced to the leader, my blue eyes flickering over unamused as my tail only gives a single flick at the end. I cannot stand wordy wolves who feel they need to boost their egos by blabbering on about themselves. It is disgusting, and I do not know if I can tolerate being led by someone with that kind of nature. Tess...he was a perfect leader who just grew too old and torn from the loss of his mate. He was not arrogant with his words though, and he did not bombard others with titles to make himself feel good. I sigh as I close my eyes, knowing he was never coming back to lead. If only Glorall was not filled with my worthless brothers, I feel I would have maybe liked Eden, or tolerated him better.

I am certain Fjall will love it here, and she already seems taken with the Queen's introduction. Perhaps that is why she does it, to woo the feeble minded into joining her ranks. I suppose there is some sort of advantage to that, if you like having a feeble minded pack. I do know that some feeble minded wolves are good with their fangs though...just in this case Fjall isn't even that. Okay, so perhaps I can see use for her words, but they do not woo me, they annoy me to no end, but I look to Jericho as he seems rather surprised that Fjall has come with me.

"Magnus is coming too, he is my friend, and she goes where he goes. So this is Spirane, eh? Tell me, it is always this loud here?" I ask Jericho, knowing probably no one here understands what I am talking about, but that is fine. If only Magnus were here in this moment, he would understand more than anyone. We are the same, he and I. I keep my eyes on Jericho for a moment, a few moments, before I return them to Dany, wondering if she was going to start spewing all the titles of her lineage. Perhaps I can steer the conversation towards something more useful, be ahead of the talking game as much as I despise it.

"Suppose you haven't seen Tesseract?" I ask as...I do not know where he went. I hope that perhaps, he may be here. There is a dark...hope in my eyes, a hope that I know will be crushed. If he is here I will be thrilled, and will want to go to him in a heartbeat, even if he lost the pack. I know we were always on good terms with Spirane, so...it never hurt to ask, and the leader of Spirane might know more than some commoner in the fields.
