It seemed almost all too surreal. In the past she had made numerous attempts to join a pack. Deep down she always felt that abrasive tug that would pull her closer, and closer to any pack line. When she was much younger her eagerness would increase as her mind would spin and whirl around cheerful hopeful thoughts of knowing what it was like to be accepted. Never before had she felt that strong bond. Never had she known what it was like to actually feel that connection among creatures of her own kind. Her own blood had disowned her, harmed her, and chased her out all because of their imbecilic superstitions. Without that strong foundation that only a pack could bring she wandered through the outskirts utilizing her teeth, claws, and inner strength to ensure her survival. Her need of revenge on her pack helped fill her with warmth on those cold nights and settled her stomach when she starved. It was after she attacked her own kind did she seem satisfied and felt she was able to move on. Yet it would seem her past always managed to catch up to her. No matter where she went, she was always chased away, that need to be among others seemed to be at an unattainable reach.
Here within Molodain she had remained hidden within the loner lands. Keeping to herself and far away from others of her kind. That need to belong was snuffed out. There was a time when she fantasied being with a pack. Yet there was not a single pack in Molodain she wanted to join. It was only when Tobias proclaimed he did not hate her did that renew her interest to be in a pack. However, she was incapable of serving another. The only way she could join a pack was if she took one over. Jaidah had been a thorn in her side and when she slinked along the borders and found her scent not as pungent, that was when she had made her decision, and it seemed like it was the best one she made. The fight was intense as she assumed it would be and she had managed to defeat Jaidah’s knight in shining armor. After the fight she had gone back to Tobias’ lair and urged him to follow her to a place that would be his just as it was hers, a new home for them, and other wolves like them.
The day started off sunny and bright, but it would seem the weather would change as soon as the fight for Asteraia was over. As night the night began to fall, dark clouds would to take over the deep indigo sky as the deep rumblings of thunder could be heard in the distance. It seemed as if this was an ominous meaning to what the future would bring now that Asteraia had two brand new leaders. Long obsidian limbs gradually moved her sleek frame across the flat field as a dark fog crept through. The storm winds would coil and whip through her thick ebony and grey fur. Each stride she made was purposeful, carrying that inner strength and something quite dangerously peculiar. Sadistic sapphire eyes narrowed as she quietly observed what would be her lands, as she sought out for any lupine that inhabited this place. Eventually the Monster would make her way towards a raised small knoll encompassed with various sized rocks. Climbing up the small knoll she would place herself at the top, standing tall and firm, with enough room should her imprint like to join her. Lifting her head a haunting, and yet eerie howl, was ushered out of the creature. Her haunting tune called for all within Asteraia, and those that considered it to be their new home, to come and meet her here. Lightning would fork across the sky as a roar of thunder answered her ghastly melody. Those cold eyes scanned the area once more as she stood there stoic, ever so patient, waiting to see the ones that dared to stay with the Monster.
