It was early morning. The sun has already risen above the horizon and the sky was starting to turn into the light blue that signaled day. He had already been on his journey from Taviora. He had managed to avoid his father's coming so far. He had been spending time catching birds and ripping out their feathers gently. He only picked the best ones, the softest ones, to bring with him this morning. He used the excuse of being distracted by birds and keeping his promise to avoid the inevitable. But really, he had told Raven he would bring her feathers. He had visited her den, got some ideas of his own, and wanted to share perhaps even just a little piece of himself.

He was a tiny bit nervous as the landscape began to change and Iromar became present. He remembered what happened last time, and he did not wish to trespass again. His light blue eyes slashed with yellow and pink blinked as he slowed his pace. The smell in the air filled his nostrils as the world was humid and heavy. Summer was not an easy month in the swamps, he figured. He heard the songs of insects loud and he felt almost a little...silly having a mouth completely stuffed with feathers.

He knew he should not enter. He was around the area where Raven lived that she led him too, but her scent was not strong. In fact, it was almost missing completely. He did not really know what to make of it, but perhaps she had no been to this particular spot recently. He pinned his ears against his head a moment, wondering if he was...out of place, but ultimately he takes a deep breath through his nares, straightens his spine and pulls back his shoulders a bit. His eyes look to the ground to find a fallen log with a small hole in it, big enough for him to trot over and place his mouthfull of feathers in without worrying about them blowing away.

He lifts his head after he places the feathers down. There doesn't appear to be anyone around, but he was definitely at the border, as there was a strong smell of a female around. The star-touched male saw a flicker of movement in the trees, eyes directing towards the black figure that was of a bird watching over him. It was hard to see, and perhaps there was nothing there at all, but it did cause his eyes to narrow and tail to slash. The bird's taunting was not going to get to him today, nor were the trees going to laugh at him. He huffed, before he lifted his muzzle suddenly to the sky, calling for either Raven or the leader of the land. Perhaps the leader will grant him access to greet Raven, or perhaps she will come herself. Either way, he made himself known, and would sit upon his haunches as he waited next to the log for one or the other- if anyone, to greet him.
