Glorall. Yes, he would remember that name, along with this Solitaire and Tristian, a brother and a sister or so it seemed, though perhaps Solitaire was a male name as well, such a moniker seeming to hold no true gender base though for now Risk is hardly concerned with such a thing, merely nodding once more in response to the information offered- the name Viora stored as well should he ever need to recall it. The conversation moves onward swiftly then, his own mind unaware perhaps of the turbulence his questions have caused within his younger brother thoughts and indeed, perhaps had he shared them Risk would have been content to offer his opinions. He has lived through much, seen much, knows of the past as well as any whom had lived within it and while perhaps they were sure to differ on some points there is no thought Risk holds that has not been formulated without reason or cause behind it. They are merely different creatures perhaps, whom have come to understand things in different ways and yet Risk is content enough in that. He has seen enough wars to understand the true value of tolerance and has strived, truly, to uphold such values within himself.

The words his brother offers then are…curious perhaps, that head of snow and chocolate tilting slightly in response to the wry smile that seems to follow, as if the lack wolves within this land is…somehow amusing perhaps, else a joke of sorts Risk is not entirely sure he is given to follow. Perhaps it is a subtle thing, something that may well have meant more had Risk truly any idea of what or whom had existed before his brothers presence and yet for now he merely offers the other male a curious look, amber eyes frowning slightly at his companions…lack of answer perhaps. There was little here, as he had said, the lack of scents within the land surely indicative of this and yet Risk had remained unconcerned about such a thing. Everything must begin somewhere after all and he was willing enough to offer his brother a starting point, if that was what he had truly desired and yet there is something within his voice perhaps, a tone, an undercurrent that sees the warrior paused again.

“Covet…”

He waits for his brother’s near-black gaze to lift to his own, assuring he held the males attention before he continued once more.

“I do not know you well, brother or otherwise we have been apart for many years and as such maybe it is so I merely misunderstand your tone and if so I apologise for this. Brother I have seen packs begin with less and do great things and yet, even those Alpha’s, new and beginning as they were had held about themselves a great excitement, a desire of sorts to see their plans fulfilled. You speak of this land as if…..you do not really care for it, or care to lead any of those in it and if that is so brother you are better to forget it, turn from it and go back to whatever it is you take pleasure in.”

There is a pause of sorts to his words, soft and polite though they are, for he means no disrespect, not at all and perhaps he truly has simply misunderstood his brother, after all, this may simply be his demeanour and if so that is fine.

“Anyone can take a pack brother, but few can lead it- if you wanted this land, for whatever reason then at least honour it and those brave enough to stay with you in it. You say your land has little of anything, but I still scent others here- there is something, someone and that is more then others have started with. So I will ask you again, Covet, do you want me to be a warrior for your pack? Is there something here that is, or may one day, be worth me fighting for, or is there not?”

He is direct perhaps, forward and yet sometimes such words merely need to be said, a smile resting upon his lips all the same as he questions if his Brother truly holds heart in this or not. There is no shame in not being a Leader, many are not and yet they find other ways to shine and to be remembered, it would be a worse crime, at least to the mind of Risk- to take a land and leave it to ruin, to run a pack with no heart behind it then to truly try and perhaps he questions Covet’s true conviction in this. He will always remain his brother, Risk finding himself at ease within the younger males company and hopes it will always be so- yet he will not lend his fangs to a rebel without a cause….
