Glorall

Disaster has struck!
Flooding from the north has taken its toll on Glorall. The large tides combined with the increase in water draining from the Ruieze River has flooded the lower regions of the pack. The sandy soil, compounded with so much water, has toppled a lot of trees. Traveling is difficult even when the water is shallower, with the sandy soil below being difficult to find traction on. The daily tides seem to keep the level of flooding fairly consistent, too.

During the low tide, wolves may be able to move around the higher dunes (with some difficulty) but during high tide, the pack is almost impossible to safely navigate. Swimming is possible, but the risk of currants and surges from either the ocean or the river are very real. The island off of the coast of Glorall is untouched by either issue, although it is incredibly difficult to find your way there without being an adept swimmer with plenty of good luck!

Note: Glorall will reopen once 30 posts have been completed (or at Staff discretion). During this time, new threads will receive a 'Surprise','Disaster', and prizes. Glorall is currently not open for challenges.

Perhaps he should have been more worried about the silence of Glorall of late, that maybe it meant someone of the wrong sort could come snooping around the pack eventually. That was possible, but Solitaire did not want to lose his place here, did not want any kind of concern that he might not be able to stay here. After everything, he would hold onto this place tightly, and he was more than willing to fight to stay, to keep what he had earned here. He didn't want to have anything like the past to come back at him, did not want to end up sent away again. The idea of that made his stomach twist in knots, but he could only hope that things would work out for him here. That no one would mess with the peaceful calm that was here. Unless it was a sparse few that tried to do it, and for the better...

Though he did not see much that would be in that catigory, and he liked things as they were now. He was glad to be able to play with his brother as if they were still pups, glad to have this chance when he hadn't much of it in the past, when they actually were that young. Of course Solitaire never wanted to be so old that this wouldn't be fun or a valid way to spend his time. He was having a grand time with the games Tristan came up with. There was a laughing bark at Tristan's yelling of having cooties now from his slobber, and Solitaire was grinning ear to ear when he lept for his brother to tackle and tickle. The squirming that came from that, as well as the laughing and so forth had him laughing as well, almost out of breath when Tristan was protesting the tickling. Solitaire rolled to the side, side heaving with his mirth at the entire situation; eyes gleaming in happiness.
